It had taken Bridget a little longer than she anticipated to come this way, and she hadn't gotten much help from the Caldera.  Just word that quite a few packs were around here... and honestly, okay.  It was a start?  The healer was impatient, but she wasn't about to give up that easily.  Teya was fine for now, safe under the watch of those two and healing, but winter was rolling on them.  Even as she stood there, a thin coating of snow lay beneath her paws, setting a chill up through her limbs.  God, they were going to need to find a pack of some sort.

Skirting the lake, Bridget began to sound out calls summoning @Sundance.  She didn't do it close to the Caldera, but further south, in the area of one of the fledgling packs (I'm going to just say) they'd indicated.  If she had no luck here, she'd try north, but that was in the direction she'd need to travel regardless.  She woudn't double back until she'd either hit a border or stuck around long enough to prove they'd been shitting with her.
After some time apart, Sundance had fully expected Bridget to have moved on. Off to source Lumiya, perhaps, or into the unknown in search of a fresh opportunity. The last thing he'd dare to hope for was that she might attempt to find him again.

When he heard her call from a distance, the young druid left Brecheliant's claim to locate his companion's location. Sundance was afraid to hope that Bridget had managed to find Teya, instead allowing doubt to stomp out that spark - those howls fir his attention were void of the one voice he so wished to hear.

At the frozen edge of a lake, he found her. Pale eyes lingered on her travel-worn figure as he moved to greet her with a sad smile and a tentative sway of his tail.

"Hey," Sundance said, awkward as he considered the haste of his departure from their rendezvous, "are you, uh... are you doing okay? I'm sorry for-" he stalled, glanced away guiltily, and exhaled softly. "I'm sorry."

Bridget paused suspiciously when she noted someone coming, but whooshed out a breath of relief when she saw it was Sundance.  She smiled, closing the distance some and ignoring the hesitation he showed.  I found her!  She broke the news right off the bat, no intro.  She didn't want to keep him in suspense longer than necessary.

Apparently she hurt herself up in Sunspire.  Not badly, but enough to stay a while, and she was too scared to call.  She let a small, brief flash of exasperation show as she said this last bit.  She felt like, if anyone, he'd understand why she was annoyed yet couldn't fault her.

Don't worry about it, though.  I'm heading back up, if you want to come?  Though... how is it, down here?  She hadn't really... planned on where they'd go next, and especially if Teya wasn't at one hundred percent, sticking it out alone would be rough.

They talked plans.  After a rest, Sundance agreed to accompany her back north, and together they could go pick up their missing friend.
