As her condition steadily improved, Fennec began to feel more and more like her old self.  She was still far from one hundred percent, but she began to slowly rebuild the muscles she'd lost the past few weeks.  She'd been off her feet for long enough that her endurance was shit.

She had begun to venture from the den in short trips at first, shaky on her legs, but today she'd decided it was time to visit her gardens.  With winter (and neglect) not much would be left, but it was a goal to arrive at and then turn around and go back.  Maybe someone had done a bit?  Eljay knew about them, though she wasn't sure how interested he was.  And no one knew about the other garden save the one woman; she should definitely check that the brambles were still there.

Fennec made it as far as the edge of the Bramblepoint before she had to stop and rest.  She sat down and leaned on a tree next to her, inhaling slowly.  It was more her legs than her lungs now, which was fantastic.  Despite how horrible these last few weeks had been, things were finally looking up.  Fennec smiled, her ears twisting as she lifted her nose to the wind.  There was a bite to the air... more snow on the way?
