Valette never expected to come here again in her life, but here she was. It was just how she remembered, dark and ominous. Her father Kove had once lived here. It brought back bad memories as she had not liked her father at the time and the pack that stayed in these woods weren't kind. She pushed it aside as she got closer. It was around midday, and she already had been on the road for several hours. The matriarch left under the cover of darkness, she had mentioned the night before she would leave to @West Tyree that she was going to travel to Moonspear. He was going to be in charge of Easthollow while she was gone. She already wanted to talk to Hydra, and visit Leta but with Greyback's passing she had more reason to go. Leta should know. It was still hard to believe he was truly gone.

However, as she would travel to Moonspear she also came past Blackfeather woods. The matriarch had recently learned that Taktuq was safe there. She wanted to check upon her to see how she was doing. Valette could understand that she would want to stay with the pack she was now. Ursus was a pain and she had suffered enough, so if she was happy here, Valette was more than willing to have her stay there with Sia's family. Once she reached the border she howled for her daughter, as she still saw the girl as her own. She could smell that the pack was not really established yet, however, Valette was not a wolf to be disrespectful of someone's borders. So she stayed a respectful distance from where she thought their border began.
