Tytonidae is calling for @Atticus, but anybody is welcome. I'm not even sure he will respond. :)

Saena had gone. Just like that, she vanished. Tytonidae, once again, did not understand. She could not figure out why everybody was leaving. She was less upset and more puzzled by the actions of so many of her family members. Peregrine was still here, and so was Pura, but soon, they would be gone, too. There were times when she thought about following suit. She could easily get on her feet, start walking, and never come back. But that... that didn't sit well with her. It didn't make sense. Sometimes, staying didn't make sense, either.

When the news that Atticus had awoken filtered through the pack, Ty's first instinct was to immediately go to him and tell him how glad she was that others could finally hear what was going on inside his head. But some deep, nagging feeling kept her away. Days passed, but finally, she gathered the courage to lift her head and call for him to meet her. She had to know if he remembered talking to her. If he didn't, Ty wasn't sure what she would do. It would essentially invalidate everything she thought she knew about herself.
The days following his return to reality passed in a hazy, dreamlike way. Some days he was completely cognizant and alert, other days he was only partly lucid. On bad days, he forgot how to speak and would return to silence and empty stares, and Blue Willow would fret and mourn the seeming loss of her love again. On good days, though, he would walk and talk and act normal, if a bit spacey.

Today was one of those good days. Today, he walked about the lands and attempted to re-familiarize himself with the plateaued home he had once defended as its Beta. Blue had told him of his fall from leadership, which was understandable. He still did not know of shift in Alphaship, nor of the complicated tangle that had become his brother's love life. All of that had been too complex for Atticus's still-recovering mind, and in Blue's wisdom and compassion, she had decided such things could wait for another day.

He heard a howl with his name on its tone; interestingly, he was already heading in the direction from whence it came, so he merely continued on his way. It only took him a few minutes to find her, though recognition was several further seconds in coming. She had grown a lot since last he'd seen her -- not realizing that she had, in fact, spent a great deal of time with him these last several weeks. A smile flickered over his weary face and his voice was soft as he greeted her, "Hey, Ty."
Thank you for joining!

Tytonidae fidgeted as she awaited her uncle's presence. She was not even sure what she would say or do. Was she even brave enough to ask him about all the conversations they'd had over the past month? She furrowed her brow and chewed on her lip. She swatted at a blade of grass with her paw and paced back and forth. When she spotted Uncle Atticus walking toward her, she froze like a stone statue.

When he spoke, Tytonidae wasn't even sure it was his voice at first. Was that the same voice he had used to speak to her while he was trapped inside his head? She racked her brain, trying to remember. But it was no use. “I—” she broke off, suddenly unsure of herself. She started a thousand sentences in her head, but none of them sounded correct. “You aren’t trapped anymore,” she said finally.
Atticus grinned at her as he waited for her to figure out what she wanted to say. He hadn't had a lot of interaction with her; his uncomfortable history with Hawkeye, followed by the demands of his position as Beta, and then Junior's disappearance had all kept him from spending much time with any of the kids. He did know she was a bit of a space case, but he was too, now.

When she did speak, he chuckled softly and shook his head. "No, not anymore," he replied. "Blue helped me find my way back." For he truly believed that Blue Willow had somehow saved him through her tireless efforts and ceaseless vigil over him.
Tytonidae gave her uncle a defeated-sounding, “Oh.” He made no mention of their conversations, nor all the advice he had given her when he had been trapped inside his head. Perhaps everything that had happened then had been lost to him. Yes, that had to be it. He simply couldn't remember because he had been a different wolf, with a different memory back then. Now, he was back to his normal self, and everything from that period had been lost. Maybe, if he went back to being stuck in his head, he would remember again. Tytonidae wondered if he could ever go back.

But then, how did he know about Blue? Did he remember only her? Was Tytonidae really so insignificant that she could not be remembered while he was trapped in his head? She had hung around her uncle just as much as Blue Willow had, and yet he made no mention of her presence.

Self-conscious, Ty shuffled her feet, unable to say anything more. And eventually, the silence was too much to handle. “B—bye,” she muttered under her breath, scampering off just as quickly as she had arrived.
