( For @Enya because I promised. Takes place before pack tryout, off Noctisardor Bypass border)

Pretty little lady, come on around,
Shout your name to the entire town.
Dance it up, and slam em down,
But whisper it, to me.

The same country song, one he knew his mother said Xandir, his father, once sang to her, when they first met.
Before he killed her.

Shaking his woodied mane, the hessian, Adair, tried to shake the morbid thoughts from his head, but for once, they refused to leave him. The pleads. The snarls. The unexplained scratches and bite marks. Missing patches of fur on her body. Her constant limping she tried to hide.

Her death.
Then his.

He bit down on the bottom of his lip, until the splash of copper salted crimson lavished itswlf on his coarse tongue.
And like that, it was gone. He was back to his calm and collected self.
He continued padding down the side of the luscious grassy knoll that was a few miles out from pack lands.
Adair knew he was seeking a bit of solitude, just a bit. For his emotional, or psychological reasons, he didnt know, but the 4 year old brute found a smidge of seclusion from reality at the base of an elm that hung its branches with pride.
He sat on his silked haunches, and lowered himswlf down, without even checking for any nearby souls.
sorry for my lack of attention! I am done my pawprints so I can devote my full attention to posting!! XD Thank you for starting!

"What an interesting tune you sing." Enya spoke up, having been brought in his direction by the sound of his voice that carried on the wind. She was seemingly passing by, and her scent would be new and unseen before, a lone wolf merely traveling on her way. She had watched him for a few minutes when his song had ended, he seemed sad then angry then sad and now strangle calm, it reminded her of her sister. "You know, you should really pay more attention to your surroundings...especially in neutral territory." There was a slight smirk on her lips as she came to stand in front of him, her snow white fur seemingly brighter in the sun. Enya would have also sat back if she knew this wolf previously, but as she did not she remained standing lest she need a quick get away or a sturdy leverage point of attack.
(Its perfectly fine. Im actually happy u did them, because now I know the exp challenged. xD)

Adair's auds perked at the sound of a voice. They swiveled to face his back left, where she was, the unseen wolf.
Before the massive hessian turned to her, he murmured,
"In some aspect of your opinion, it is seen as intresting. When you are on the receiving end of the dagger, it's not so intresting. "

Finally the brute stood on his fours and turned to the hellion who found him. He cast a light gaze over her figure, the pristine white of her outter coat, that was even matched with a downy of black underneath, giving her riviting shades of gray along her pelt.
Her pitch black eyes, that returned his stare.

"You know, you should really pay more attention to your surroundings...especially in neutral territory." said the femmora with a twinge of a raised lip, revealing a bit of the top jaws lower fang, a smirk, something he had grown accustomed to seeing from his Alpha, Shadow.

"Aye, I should, " replied the dark cloaked wolf. "but I dont have any enemies, so I have nothing to worry about. "
Dipping his crown to the femalia, he stated in his usual soft and gentle voice,
"I am Adair. Adair Erïksőn. Lambda of the Noctisardor Bypass pack. Who are you, miss?"
[size=medium]
"Enya Acilius." She introduced herself, with a nod in greeting. "You may not have many enemies, but some may take advantage of your distracted state. You are lucky that a kind, caring soul such as myself has found you." She chuckled to herself, Enya was anything, but no matter how good she was at hiding her frozen nature. "What has brought you here, you seem like you belong somewhere, yet you spend your time alone."

"It is a pleasure to meet such a kind and caring wolf, miss Enya. I do hope you stick around, because not many have the consideration of such traits," Adair murmured in his honeydew voice.
"so allow me to explain my solitude."he continued.

Facing the river that was the lead to the pack he had sworn his new loyalty to, Adair said a bit over his shoulder to her,
"When you have thoughts that haunt, words that hurt, and stories that scar your future, the one thing you want, is solice.
I am not one to place my burdens upon another's shoulders, for everyone has a story, whether it be good or bad. And all must suffice with carrying their own weight."

The dark hessian looked back at her to judge her expression.

"To cry for something is perfectly fine. All is well at such an act of emotion. Yet to cry over the same thing again, that is foolish. That is why masks were created. Some thoughts, some stories, some history, must be hidden, to continue in, as strong as if nothing has ever happened."
[size=medium]
"Wise words, Adair Erïksőn. Lambda of the Noctisardor Bypass pack." She followed his gaze along the river, "Shoveling your weight upon someone else is a grave miss step, but splitting the burden of your memories can sometimes heal the scars of your future." She spoke a little as she came up beside him, sensing little hostility toward her. "All I can say is as long as your tears are shed from the heart, and not from the wrongs done upon you there is no shame in crying as many time as needed." Enya was no softy, but there was no shame in showing your emotions.

Adair listened to her words, absorbing them, comparing them, contrasting them against the same advice he had given so many wolves, in his day.
And disturbingly, her words had identical meaning to his, all those years ago.

"I do appreciate your words, lass. I'll not be forgetting them any time soon. Especially not while pondering my life. "

The wood draped brute turned his amberized hazel orbs to her pitch black ones, as he had noticed she got a bit closer to him.

"Your perspective on emotion is quite intriguing, I admit. Why such views, miss Enya? "
[size=medium]
"If you call me miss one more time..." Enya threatened lightly, with no real weight behind her words. Tearing her eyes away from his hazel orbs, Enya turned away slightly tilting her head to the sky watching the clouds, lost in the blue abyss. "As you said we all have our reasons, our burdens, our future scars." A grim smile made it's way onto her maw, before she looked back toward the woodland pigmented brute beside her. "Perhaps with time you will come to know of the weight on my shoulders, if we ever meet again that is." Enya concede, sitting back on her haunches as her tail wrapped elegantly around her snow, grey paws. "How would you know of such things Adair Erïksőn. Lambda of the Noctisardor Bypass pack."

At the gentle threat he heard from the grey snowed fae, a deep chuckle reverberated through him.
"As you said we all have our reasons, our burdens, our future scars.", she had said.

"Aye, thats the reason why we wont speak about it, Enya. We have our reasons." he murmured the next sentence.
"Even if sharing is caring."

"Perhaps with time you will come to know of the weight on my shoulders, if we ever meet again that is."

Adair turned his warm gaze to face her, and spoke softly,
"Then i suppose i better be more alert, so I do not have to worry for not having a kind and caring stranger stare at me as I ponder my burdens, eh? I have a new goal, then. " he grinned, at gazed up at the warm blue that lay above them.

"Then i suppose i better be more alert, so I do not have to worry for not having a kind and caring stranger stare at me as I ponder my burdens, eh? I have a new goal, then. " Enya chuckled at his words, "What an excellent goal. Who knows next time it might not be a stranger, then what are you going to do?" She stood once more, "Perhaps I'll see you again some time, Adair." She turned away, "We have stories to share, don't forget." She said over her shoulder as she walked away, in the opposite direction of the Noctisardor Bypass pack border. "Goodbye." Was the last words spoken, whether or not he could hear her was a different story, she knew they would see each other again, and she admitted that she was looking forward to their next meeting.

( Archieving. Good thread. ^-^)

"I have absolutely no idea, but I suppose I'll have a bit of experience on my side. Especially when confronted by you. " jested the warm hearted male.

"And yes, we will undoubtedly meet again. You are very interesting, miss Enya. "
Adair noted that he called her miss again, almost laughing at the slip.

"I will not forget, farewell."
Adair watched the pale hellion take her leave, and only after she was out of sight, did he turn back to the darkening sky.
