@Shadow
Each step in her new home made her feel closer to considering it one, it didn't seem as foreign anymore. Breathing heavy, pawsteps rapid, she progressed out of it and towards other lands. Ahead of her light footfalls moved quickly, it's eyes wild. There were more of them, running from her. This was for them, those who had taken her in and given her shelter. In return she would feed them, and do it well. So the group of elk was a good choice, considering the meat that they could bring. However, they were exceptionally powerful animals when their legs were taken in account.

If one would simply kick behind, they could cause her head trauma. What use would she be then? So when a hoof lunged backwards she would veer towards the side of them, and remain there until it decided to stop. Hunting had always been dangerous, but it needed to be done. With her streamline frame and long strides she was adept for it, they were prey and she was a very lethal predator. When chasing she lost herself, motions becoming mechanical. Short breaks were taken periodically at around the same time, a pattern of rest then striving for the kill.

After a lengthy chase she began to get weary, and slowed to a trot. Hoping she was going the right way she started the trudge that hopefully led back to her pack. But a strong aroma caught her attention, bringing her away from the sagging walk. Coming from a few yards away, the scent of others. Unfamiliar to the landscape Aure had not known of other sharing near the packlands, but it was now clear to her that she had gotten pretty close to one. Curious she crept towards the scents, stopping less than a foot away. Here she would begin to inspect along the length of the border, trotting warily and sniffing the fringes.
Concluding this!

Now the Praetor, he had become a constant patroller of the borders, keeping them well marked and making sure there were no intruders nearby. He chuckled internally, it wouldn't be long before he earned the warden trade, if he wanted to of course and truthfully he doubted if he actually wanted to become a warden. His current goal was to become a warrior of course. But warden seemed fine although he was careful about his third choice, not wanting to make a mistake.

Today he had gotten up as usual before morning came and after a quick meal, began his daily duties which included patrolling. Lifting a hind leg to scent mark a tree, he made his way towards the borders, hoping that there were no wolves stupid enough to venture past. Noctisardor Bypass might be knew but it was strong, as strong as any of its neighboring packs.

But Jupiter did not grant him peace and apparently neither did Mars as he soon sniffed out a female wolf from another pack. She had not intruded but was too close, too close for comfort. Immediately he made his way towards, her hackles bristling and tail rising dominantly over his hindquarters, sharp silver white canines bared in a snarl. A low growl escaped his maw "Who in the name of Jupiter are you, invasores!" The Roman chased the female out, fangs grazing her flesh. Once he was satisfied she was gone, Shadow went back to complete his duties.
