The dissapereance of Whatever-that-creepy-bitch-was-called (Meldresi) hadn't been a surprise for the light colored female. She had joined when Jinx was still lucid, and even when she had died and the reign had fallen onto Cara's hands she had sensed the discomfort of the female. Truth be told she had seen it coming, she had known the creepy bitch would pack her bags and leave. And honestly Cara wouldn't even care if she left.

What was truly worrying for the girl was the possibility the witch could have something to do with Keith's mysterious disappearance. Until now she knew nothing about the feud between Kaname and the princeling, she thought the male had chickened out on her when the battle for the throne had ended. Coward fuck, she thought as she trotted lightly near to the freshly put scent-markers.

Trespassing was not on the girl's to-do list, but prodding her nose around the border and pestering the newly settled wolves certainly was.

The beast, as was his routine, trekked another lap around the border. It was a mindless action that bought no obvious reward except for the fact that maybe seeing his silhouette stroll through the trees was likely to ward off trespassers. But these motions were mindless for him, and he didn’t think on the cause and effect of his proceedings, he merely flipped through them as they came. And so it was, when pushing his way through the thick undergrowth of the Woods, his gaze shifted to sight pale glint of fur approaching the dark shadows of his pack's lair.

Characteristically he did not rouse himself to speak or call out to her. But he approached, far from hidden as he halted near the base of a tree to gaze openly at her. Leatherface's tail made no movements, it fell listlessly behind; asserting no dominance, nor puffing up his pose. Instead the beast stared silently, the metal of his eyes heavy with a question. What would she do?

hihi

Her eyes traced the outlines of the eerie looking trees that acted as gates to the unkown land of the Blackfeather Woods. A cold shiver was sent running down her spine as the breeze folded one of the branches, making an awful creaking sound that could only be the work of monsters. Cara was not superticious nor she was devoted to any particular god or faith, but she did believe in evil -- and that forest held the essence of it.

She sniffed casually at the ground, keeping her ears pricked in case any of the horrid creatures of the forest decided to show its face. And one did. Though it wasn't as horrid as she expected, a large brute that resembled Sitri in color stood silently a couple of meters away. The female studied the other's pose and body, the man was large but he didn't carry any sense of authority over him.

Instantly, and rather stupidly, the former Frost Queen lifted her tail over her back and narrowed her eyes at the man at the same time. Her gaze lingered on his face for some good two minutes before she finally spoke. "Are you part of the Freakshow?" she barked. Surely those who dared to follow Meldresi had to be broken or crazy in someway.

She had seen the bitch in a couple of pack meetings.
Jinx was sane compared to her.
