The participants have indicated the following reason(s) for this warning: baby innuendo idk this may or may not be necessary tbh

While she'd helped her mother through delivery and wandered off a time or two for air, for the most part, Fennec would spend the remainder of her week plying @Bronco for attention (among other things).

Some part of her knew she should be careful, but she'd never been much for listening to her better angels.  So she ignored it and instead threw herself fully into the impulse.  At the close of their most recent go-round, Fennec stretched, then yawned luxuriously.  She couldn't see Bronco's face but she could only assume he was as content about this arrangement as she was.  Better be, she thought, strangely possessive.  While her moods were still semi mercurial, they'd settled down some now that she'd found a release for all the pent-up aggression.

We're playin hookie today again,  she said, settling in and reaching out for him to tug, gently, on whatever fur she caught.  A small flash of guilt, but it washed away quickly, replaced with the selfish pleasure of the idea of spending another day lazing about with Bronco.  She didn't have the self-discipline to refuse.
He would have to take a quick trip, at some point, to go to Moonglow and inform Antares and Kukutux that he'd officially joined with the Redhawks, but it was too hard to pry himself away, when he felt himself drawn to Fennec's side like a magnet. He hadn't made himself terribly useful to any but her, yet, though he knew he would eventually settle in and find his place within the pack once more. For some reason, though, he found himself wanting more and more to shirk whatever responsibilities he'd picked up, as far as patrolling the borders or keeping track of caches. With each passing day, it felt more and more as though the only place he could be, the only place he wanted to be- was close by Fennec's side.

He begrudgingly gave her space when she wanted to go check on Towhee and her kids, which gave him a bit of time to himself to digest the news that his mother had wandered off- heavy with child, broken leg and all- after having had a tiff with Phox. It felt exhausting, to him, to even wonder what had happened to his mother. His concern was spared mostly for the unborn siblings, which should have been born by now he thought, and for Phox, who had gone off in search of his ex-mate. If there was some way that the kids could be brought home without their basket-case of a mother, then he felt everything could be solved- but he knew his mother well enough to know that once she set her mind to something, it was hard to convince her to change it. If she'd decided to run off and keep her kids away from her family, she'd do whatever it took to make sure she got what she wanted.

It was nauseating to think about, so he tried not to waste too much time thinking about it. This was accomplished much more easily when he felt the same stirring within his entire body as Fennec kept him preoccupied. Her plans for the day sounded exactly ideal to him, so with a love-drunk smile, he rolled over onto his side, and pushed himself up onto his feet so that he could take two lazy steps toward her, and rub his muzzle against her shoulder, with an affectionate growl. "You don't have to tell me twice," He said, reaching out to preen the fur behind her ear. Their new arrangement made him feel happier than he'd ever been.
Fennec reached up a paw and pulled him close, shoved her head playfully into him with an affectionate growl. Now that he was here and not going anywhere, she was nothing but amorous enthusiasm.

She hadn't let anyone else in the pack know he was here yet officially, hadn't worried about it, and had spared only enough thought to let him know his mother was missing. She'd delivered this news with quick detachment.... and fortunately, right now, any lingering disappointment was quickly swept away. Lucky her siblings had been born, something that forced her to leave occasionally rather than sweeping him entirely into avoidance with her.

Surprises me you know how, she teased lightly. He'd been endless patrols as long as she'd known him and she was glad whatever vibe she was riding seemed to have caught him as well. She'd have been pretty put out if an empty scent line held more appeal than her company.
Her joke made something deep inside his chest flinch, but he was so overwhelmed with their honeymooning that it felt easy to brush aside. A part of him was still paranoid that she'd find out, or that he would eventually have to tell her, that he had been with one other before her. He thought at first she was passively commenting on the fact that he somehow knew what to do with her- until he realized that she was actually commenting on his (lack of) experience playing hookie instead. And that much was true- he was usually very task-oriented, but presently...The only thing that he wanted to do was be with her. When she pressed against him he uttered a possessive growl, rubbing his chin along the top of her head and back down her shoulders. He smirked lightly, and uttered softly into her fur. "I'm learning,"

He didn't mind the fact that he hadn't been terribly productive. He could dedicate himself to patrolling the borders and hunting another day- but nothing could compel him to leave Fennec, not right now. He was almost entirely a different creature, as far as his daily tasks were concerned. Whenever the invitation was presented, as it was now, he was swift to respond. He was learning her signals, and following her cues- and learning as well how to nab her interest and lure her into yet another embrace. Youth had its advantages- and one of them was having energy.

It made him bolder than he usually was, so it was with confidence that he pulled her closer, and with a needy, throaty growl that he declared his intentions. They would indeed play hookie for another day- ignore their other responsibilities, but he was going to make sure they enjoyed it.
Already? She wasn't expecting another go again so soon, though as soon as he growled and pulled her in like that, she felt herself respond in synchronized fashion. Every single time it felt new. Fennec's growl turned into a throaty whine and she pressed herself to him, allowing for them to find that familiar place again.

He was her guide but she took lead where she could. Her blood sang, intoxicated with the nearness of him, his weight and warmth. The song carried her, wild and sweet, until she all but lost herself within the refrain.
