Though the slippery Glacier proved to be impassable at this point in the warm season, the ecologist thought it might be worthwhile to study the land immediately surrounding the place -- especially given that she doubted anything resided upon the small plateau of ice directly anyways. Such was what led the mouse to begin hunting around the foothills and ground surrounding the Glacier, searching for any sign of life -- even if it was just a few small rodents.
