Lótë hadn't quite been expecting to find any sign of game when she approached the hot springs, her only intentions being to soak her sore muscles and enjoy the warm water on the chilly, drizzling day of light rain before heading home. But the herdstalker was pleasantly surprised to find hoofprints sunken into the soft mud around the stone-lined pools, amongst other signs that a herd had grazed here recently. Tail wagging, the doe moved out from the steaming pools in search of any other signs of game that hadn't been washed away by the precipitation.
