The night was clouded. Little moonlight shone through, a sliver of the moon was visible, though. Not enough to illuminate this place into the beauty of its name.

Still she found herself charmed by it.

A valley with walls of stone. Beautiful. Breathtaking.

It would have been a perfect place to stay a while. If only she was not so bothered by the thought of being alone. Still she had not tethered herself to a place with a name.

Soon.

For now she worked on making a temporary, makeshift bed for nightly slumber. It would be nothing more than a little divot in soft dirt. Something big enough for her to curl up comfortable in but not covered from the elements.
The moon shone bright tonight, illuminating the world with a touch of silver. It was the faint, dimmed light of the moon that lit up parts of darkness on this still night.

Dragonfly felt more alert and alive during the nightly hours and the early hours of the next morning. Every sound, no matter how soft, could be heard while his eyes were sensitive to any movement. His honey-brown eyes lit up during these dark hours.

Suddenly he noticed a creature flying above his head, it was hunting some insects this evening. But what could it be? It was difficult to see what exactly since the creature blended with the background due to its dark coloration and small size. Were there more? And what was he hearing nearby? Could it be the snoring of another wolf?

This night turned out to be an interesting one.
