For @Calcifer ! (Backdated to the 28th)

The pale guard had set off some distance away from the pack on his own accord this morning, and there was no other direction he could've been going except.......no, he couldn't go there yet. He wasn't ready. Through the thicket of trees and sweet smelling bushes is what he'd barely make out as the glen -- just over the great expanse that was the lake. And boy, did his heart leap uneasently at the sight.

Āzoniol wasn't sure how he'd react when he got there, as proof that he wasn't ready to make peace with everything that happened because he was too cowardly to face it all. So he'd turn himself away and attempt to go deeper into the forest instead.
Sorry for the late join

Calcifer had meandered his way into Bramble point the night before. The sweet scent of berries and fruit lured him like the steam off a cartoon pie. In the dark of night, he used his nose the guide him through and make light work of the vegetation around him before resting.

Now that morning was here and the sun was up, his eyes helped him to see how great of a treasure he had stumbled upon. Trees of all kinds stood around him baring apples, cherries, and other fruit. Close by he could see rich bushes decorated in black and red berries.

Like a child in a candy store, he pleasantly trotted over to the bushes and plunged his head into their leaves to take mouthfuls of berries. Their juice uzzed over his lips and down his chin. He slowly continued to walk through and rummage around. He would feel his fur getting caught and pulled from time to time on the brambles, but his thick coat gave him the protection a bear would have.
