@Cadfael and @Flash Quest Thread. Please let Flash reply first :)

He had washed himself in the cold water, dunked himself in a mud pool and basically he smelled like shit which was basically his goal in first place. Brilliant wasn't it? He grinned, knowing they looked like bedraggled loners searching for a home. He approached a forest, Blackfoot Forest, a place he had came before. It was near the Creek and he was sure that one of the Creek wolves would come soon for they liked to chase foxes didn't they?

He shrugged and turned to Flash as he walked "So, eager to get out of Probatio?" he smiled, sapphire blue eyes twinkling with amusement as he watched the yearling. There was something intriguing about the young wolf. He wondered if he had ever thought about going for Caretaker, he seemed just the type of wolf for that.[/quote]

Flash almost laughed as he rolled in the mud. He hadn't had a good roll since he was younger. He and Farkas currently look and smell like shit, which was the goal in the first place. They started towards Blackfoot forest, where Farkas turned to himself and said "So, eager to get out of Probatio?"

“Ya think? " Flash joked back. The forest was only the first step to getting to the creek and he hoped they wouldn't have to go an more further to see a creek wolf. He quietly sniffed the air and almost flinched from the strong scent of Swiftcurrent Creek. He silent nudged Farkas and gestured to the forest. With new confidence, he raised his head and howled.

He had begun to leave the Creek and explore more often now that he had lived there for a few weeks, or at least he thought he had lived there for a few weeks already. He couldn't be sure, after all he never really kept track of time. Time to him was a small nuisance, all they needed to know was when to get up, when to sleep. For in the end, everyone was going to die someday and he doubted anyone would miss him, anyone that was currently beside him and knew who he was.

His paws found their way to Blackfoot Forest where it was famous for the foxes that roamed the dark woods. The silence calmed the welsh prince, it was good to be free of his pack duties and all the things that was required of him in pack life. Sometimes it was extremely annoying as the only pack he ever liked to be with and do his pack duties was his welsh pack and they were gone.

The warrior paused, nose sniffing the air warily when a howl sounded into the air. Curious, the rhyfelwr tywysog made his way towards the sound. He spotted a jet black wolf with glimmering blue eyes and a wolf graced by Autumn's touch. They didn't smell like any pack, like a loner however a faint smell lurked underneath them. He didn't give it much of a thought though, why should he care? He had no family near him anymore, not much to protect.

He grinned at the yearling, brushing his shoulder to his in a friendly manner as they walked. It wasn't long before a wolf came. A wolf with the fur of midnight and brilliant blue eyes that held a certain kind of burden in them, as if he had lived for a long time and endured a lot and now it hung by his shoulders like a heavy burden that would never leave him. Farkas knew how that felt and he knew no matter how hard you try to forget them, try to get the burden off your shoulders, you couldn't because it was you. It shaped you and you couldn't change the past, ever.

The wolf smelled of Swiftcurrent Creek and a surge of satisfaction and victory went through the dark warrior. "Hello," he spoke pleasantly with a small dip of his head in respect for now they were to pretend to be loners. "Nice to meet you, I say, you smell of a pack." he said in a curious tone. He was a good actor when he wanted to be one, he just hoped the tawny yearling would follow the flow.
"Hello, nice to meet you, I say, you smell of a pack." Farkas started, He sounds pretty convincing and Flash had to try no to smiled. To not look suspicious, he continued, “We've been travelling for a while and we want to join a pack." He knew he couldn't ask about the pack so quickly or it would look suspicious.

He could only hope the Black wolf would fall for it. If he got suspicious and took them into the pack it would be real bad. What if they got stuck? I have got to stop worrying, he thought. He quickly surveyed the black wolf as they waited for answer. He was strong, but both of them could take him down. He hoep it doesn't come to that.

The ebony warrior listened as the two loners that didn't seem like loners as they led the subject to packlife. The tawny yearling seemed to be a little bit off, as if he was acting and he frowned slightly. He could believe the dark warrior, seemed friendly and trustworthy enough but he needed to question the green eyed male. "Is that so?" he asked in a mildly curious voice. "Lucky I'm from a pack huh? Have you ever heard of Swiftcurrent Creek before? Did you purposely come this way?" he asked pleasantly, accented voice light while midnight blue eyes twinkled.

Perhaps if the yearling was true and really wanted to join the Creek, he would offer them a slither of information. But if they didn't, who cares? He might be a wolf of the Creek now but he felt no loyalty towards them. They were not welcoming or anything when he joined, might be a bit of his problem but still. And it seemed as if a light curse lingered over them, problems everywhere in Swiftcurrent.
Well shit. Flash screwed up. At least he hadn't screwed up too badly, this could still be mended. He dipped his head respectfully to the ebony male opposite them, knowing this had to be answered by Flash, but he still decided to answer at least one to save the yearling's life. "We have heard of Swiftcurrent Creek from some wolves a distance away from here and after the description of the territory, we, Helios and I decided to check it out." he did not wish to expose his real names so he had to quickly duplicate theirs. And the first thing that came into his mind was Helios. "I am Arodus."

Then he waited for Flash to answer, knowing the fate of their quest now lay on his paws. If he screwed up terribly, well, no getting out of Probatio for him and probably excruciating death for both of them.
When he realised he screwed up, Flash cursed in his brain so hard he was sure the others could hear him. He managed to keep a straight face without showing his panic and it soothed him when Farkas decided to answer the first question for him. He calmed down with Farkas's calm voice. How does he do that? Flash thought in dismay. He was completely convincing.

Helios and Arodus huh? he thought Good idea to hid our names. "Yes, Arodus and I decided this could be great home for us. We came this way to see if it was as good as they mentioned. Just after coming to this place, we can already say it is." He hoped the black warrior would not see it suspicious. He had said it as calm as he could be, which was really rare as he was one to play around.
