A day's work had been done.

The sun began to fall, leaving sparse light overhead.

An itch to sleep; to find Shikoba and bury his face within her fur. To venture to where the ulaqs lay were his aim, but before he found his own, Inutsuk found himself seeking out @Aiolos. Perhaps, if he were around, the two could chat. They knew little of each other and the newly hunter had a growing interest.

Sun Man. The voice came softly, but clearly enough to be heard. Eyes searched, watching for the alpha's tunic.
There was an excitement built up into the Sun man. The thought that soon @Kukutux might realize her newest pregnancy had taken root within her. That she had taken into her a piece of his spirit- or so she might have said. His wife's way of wording things never growing dull to him.

To their sleeping den Aiolos would go, much like Inutsuk's own destination. Maybe even Aiolos would find one of his growing children and rest with them wherever they to desired- the den was too small for them all!

Aiolos sees the large tawny wolf from the corner of his gaze and the soft giving of his name heard. His head lifts higher to attention, ginger ears perked. Inutsuk, hello.

So sorry for the puny response! After noticing that this had been left without a response from me for so long, I wanted to get at least something in so that it could be continued.

The tawny face lightened as the ginger alpha came into view.

Dipping his maw lightly, Inutsuk offered a formal, respectful nod of greeting.

Have you and Kukutux been settling well since our return? Frankly, he hadn't seen much of either ever since Moonglow had returned from the glaciers. One conversation with Kukutux, but that was all.

Oh your fine! As you can see, I'm struggling meself. Lol

As well as ever, He speaks with a smile, returning the man's formality with a dip of his own creamy muzzle. It is home. Despite it never being the sea, Aiolos had accepted this place as his own, as his family's own. He would still never stop yearning for the sea. Truth to be told, Aiolos and Kukutux had even otherwise, preoccupied with one another.

I see it that you are happy for our return as well? His attention to First Hunter had not gone unnoticed nor untold to him.

It truly is home. He repeated with emphasis, agreeing.

I am always glad to be here. Travelling is swell and all, but my life is here. It always has been since the moment I joined. And now that I have Shikoba to walk alongside, thus shall remain so. She is my life, as I'm sure you can understand. There was no doubt in Inutsuk that Sunman felt strongly for Kukutux. In true love, there was an undeniable bond and fierce affection towards she who man could claim the heart of.
The large tawny wolf went on then, to explain that this had been home for him the moment he decided to choose this pack amongst the others. He had made up his mind and was sticking to it. It was something that did not come along often. Too many times around wolves would come and wolves would go. Many of them only staying through winter season (usually still working hard to do their part) before moving on when spring came, whether to travel further or create a family (and pack) of their own. Speaking of family...

I'm happy for you and Shikoba both, truly. @Shikoba was a good wolf- strong, loyal and determined. Though she was independent and didn't need a man at her side, that she had found a good one was great. Should Moonglow be expecting an extention to the family this spring, then? A coy smile tugged at his lips.

There had been many of Moonglow rooting for the bond he and Shikoba shared. This allowed confidence to sprout with this newfound maturity. He was no longer a lone boy with a defamed past — instead, a married man with a mended heart never to be broken.

I appreciate that... I really do, Inutsuk bowed his head deeply in a gesture of gratitude.

The question Sunman then asked made his cheeks burn. Aiolos wasn't the first to inquire such a thing.

Perhaps so. Time will tell. He replied with ease (much to his surprise).
His deep happiness for Sunman's own acknowledgement and acceptance for their union was well met with a bow of his head. Aiolos' tail swayed low and relaxed at his hocks.

Many packs shared the custom of only the leading pair having children. That it was only their right as leaders. Aiolos felt no challenge in the new relationship that was Inutsuk and @Shikoba. Moonglow was strong enough to house more then one litter and Shikoba was worthy as their Firehunter. Though Aiolos did not know Inutsuk deeply, he must have been worthy to for being Shikoba's choosing.

That it will. He offered with a small smile. He wondered what the future may hold for their pups. Lote now taken as his second wife, her children and Kukutux own were raised as siblings. For this man's pups, maybe in years to come their family and that of Nuiruk would bond further.

I do think that we will have our work cut out for us. The Sunman laughs, lifting a forleg to paw at the man's chest in a wolfish 'chest bump'.
