@Lómion

Kausiut's cache for her treasured items had grown too small - she was not in habit of throwing stuff away (though some got lost occasionally). So in order to have a safe place to keep all of the valuables, she had gone on a lookout for a suitable cave.

First she had tried creating one of her own by digging, but mountain ground was quite unsuitable for that task. Now she inspected every nook and cranny, hole and crevice in the vicinity of ulaq, but so far none had fit the criteria she had not yet set.

Therefore the search was extended and she grew a little annoyed by the lack of progress.
he too roamed around their quiet home. though he did not seek a suitable to hide his trinkets, but himself.
between his jaws were strips of leftover meat. on most days he’d eat in the company of his mother or sibling or sisters. but he rarely ate with the four of them at once. they’d been together when he left for a meal, so he’d done alone today. he’d return to them as soon as he finished.
as he searched for someplace secluded, he heard someone nearby. he spotted kausiut soon after.
she didn’t seem to have seen him yet, and he didn’t really want her to. but despite all his senses telling him not to, he called to her.
um.. h-hello. kausiut?
Kausiut caught a whiff of meat first and her gaze settled on Lomion aftewards. Momentarily her annoyance with the lack of progress was forgotten, she approached the boy in a friendly (but still pushy) business-like manner, sniffed his muzzle and retreated, looking at him expectantly. She looked from the leftovers to the puppy comrade's face, then back at the tasty treats in his jaws. As if worldlessly telling him - You know you want to share!

The mind-games did not have a chance to reach their full-scale yet, because Kausiut was suddenly called away by her mother.

Wrapping up my threads. Thank you for having one with me!
