there was not a word for those who held both spirits in the language of kukutux. it was an old word and one that had been lost.
but as the children of her hearth grew older, moonwoman knew she must begin each path in the way that was best.
the evening was long and cold when she sought inkalorë. with her she carried a smooth deer-tooth, brought with her from the taiga.
"tamattik," she said when she had come closer to the child and set down the gift. "i wonder if you also hear those who have gone to the dancing lights speaking over moonglow."
could it be that moonglow was home of two spirit-talkers?
