the moon was full.
kukutux stood among the three sisters. for now they had given up their hair, which lay beneath the snow. she looked solemnly at each one.
they spoke what she knew, even with their bare branches.
softly moonwoman called for
@Aiolos to join her here, tail waving softly with her growing excitement.
Aiolos mostly kept to the northeastern part of their claim, east of the river, and as he looked out to the lake now with the dens behind him, the three sisters were just south.
He made his way quickly. The weeping willow trees were always strange to him. Their limbs reached down instead of to the heavens. Their bare limbs itchy along his backside as he came to his wife.
A good day?
She looked quite happy. He hoped she had good news of their future. He had been waiting for her word.
"aiolos."
she kissed first one cheek and then another, eyes dancing.
"the spirits have blessed me. you will be taataa again."
she knew her sun man would be filled with joy, and waited for it to show upon his handsome face.
And Aiolos beams, a full toothy grin and his tail moving so excitedly behind him that it causes his hips to slide side to side. He kisses one cheek then the other, mimicking the actions of his wife just moments before.
This is wonderful news!
He speaks out, maybe even yells out, with the happiness of it. He woofs, then howls out, eager to shout out the great news to the pack. Another generation of Nuiruk would come.
kukutux was filled with laughter.
she pressed against aiolos as his voice bounded happily into the sky.
and it was with his own song that she twined her own, winding her notes through the fierce and proud writing of his own.
sunman. moonwoman.
and she carried light inside herself.
When they finish their song to the tribe of Moonglow, he looks back to his wife pressed to his side. I wonder if Moonglow will have more pups this year's coming then that last. Before was six!
He of course knew of himself and Kukutux and Shikoba finding happiness in Inutsuk. Sialuk's turning of age came this year and with it, a man of her so choosing if she were ready. Next year would be the opportunity for his twins. He was not quite ready for that and was happy they were still too young.

the year was fast slipping. kukutux did not think the starshine woman would become a mother this year.
the duck tucked this to her heart. she smiled at aiolos with a growing desire. "come to our sleeping place, husband. i will show you how i will be wife during this time."
A toothy grin is given, Aiolos beaming at the words which coo from Kukutux lips. As you wish.
He was both far too eager and excited. He follows close behind her, willing and ready.
