@Sakari, set a day after the Ouranios thread

She roamed on.

She was getting close to home now, she could feel and taste it, twitching further on with every step, every breath, every little twitch.

Themis roamed onward.

Always roaming onward.
Over one mountain chain and then another Sakari had traveled in the last several weeks, searching for an area with more abundant resources than were available in the north. The wolves in the taiga had little, and nothing to spare that Sakari could con out of them.

She moved through the Glade swiftly. It was pretty certainly, but if she could not find any wolves here, then she would move on.
Themis shook out her coat after a moment, trying to keep her eyes open. Shit she was tired recently, couldn’t tell you why.

The monochrome woman’s eyes focused just in time to see another wolf through her squinting, and she managed to loose a noise. Somewhere between a squeaky toy and the persistent whine of a hamster wheel when in use.
Sakari's ears jumped to attention as she heard a beckoning that was distinctly canine. She turned toward the noise, honing in on the source. When coming upon a stranger, she always liked to be the one to spot the other wolf first-- it allowed her to watch for as long as she liked and determine possible weaknesses to exploit, possible angles from which to approach. Since she was spotted first in this instance, she would have to run with her usual go-to: friendliness and smooth charm.

Her eyes finally landed on the diminutive woman. It was easy to see how she had been missed at first glance, with such a short stance and nondescript coat pattern. Sakari's tail fluttered. Her body language shifted to a friendly easiness, and she whined back, inviting the woman closer.
