coraline had gone far from the coast after her meeting with tulok. there was much to think about. too much. envy and insecurity clouded her thoughts more often than not, even as she put distance between herself and the source of her turmoil.

small wonder she ended up so lost, then. the sea-girl wandered the plateau, sorrow trailing her like an aura. she knew she would find her way back to the coast eventually, but that did little to soothe her current distress. she missed sapphique. she missed the sea.

shockingly, painfully, she did not miss her family.

News of the Mereo wolves willing to fight and possibly even kill for the bitch his commander seemed so set on making a bride had troubled him, but he persisted. The plateau had yielded little results, much to his dismay though it did not surprise him. He figured they ought to move to a more forestry area soon if they were going to successfully accumulate resources. Just when he thought his day couldn’t get any worse, a scent lingered on the horizon, a particular feminine edge to it that caused him to sneer, the pumpkin colored girl in his sights. He let out a low grumble of warning, the disgust lingering in his mouth. Just what he needed to deal with, another bitch.
