Atali's grand entrance to the world ^-^
There was a time when travels were simple; justified; completed with ease.
No longer is that so.
Disabilities plant various — sometimes even complex — strains on the body and mind. They can either be a blessing, or a curse. Hardly ever are they both.
Though, luckily for Atali, in her view, hers is both.
Being blind restrains sight in a physical and mental way. It can lead to feelings of doubt and unworthiness. Without the ability to tend to most tasks, those who find comfort in groups would look past her. But, she does not disdain them for this.
For a short time, Atali doubted who she was and who she could be. At first, it came as a disadvantage; but now, it's led her to be more than she ever was.
With a different view of life (speaking both literally and figuratively) she works harder than ever before, with more determination to make the best of her situation.
Yes, there are times of great difficulty... but such will never bring her down. In the end, it only lifts her up.
