@Fury or any of the others!

he traversed over the mountain, down into a ravine. skeletons scattered that ravine undeniably having been crushed from a fall. why else would he find deer bones here? goat skulls?

evident of these discoveries was an antler, clutched between his jaws. a trinket like one a child might tote around. it felt nice against the peaks of his molars. grinding against the grooves of the antler as he traversed the lands.

only to discover the soft scents of others. slowly his brisk jog turned into a careful prowl. eyes open to see if anybody planned to ambush him here.
Making assumptions with @Kynareth Deagon but please PM me if I need to edit, Malia!

Fury had requested Kynareth watch her pups while she re-add her scent to the borders. It wouldn't be too lengthy of a trip, she assumed the former grandmaster would indulge her while he was around.

Thus, the Warchieftain went into the Ravine, eventually coming across the male coywolf with ears on alert, stance one that radiated power, but not aggression. Not yet at least.

"This is part of the claim of The Saints." She uttered calmly, as to not make her voice boomed within the crags. "I am Fury, the Warchief." She introduced, holding an aura of expectance that he might have manners of his own.
the saints.

but the woman who spoke it was tattered much like a devil with a name like a hellion. warchief. he liked the word, the way it rolled and the power it implied. much better than king or queen.

he dropped the antler from his jaws. clattering it at his paws.

gennesis, he grunted softly, ears scooping to cup towards her.

what's a warchief?

Often patrolling, the hound never seemed to be far from where these interactions gravitated.

First Kynareth... then Diesel... now, this.

Arashi found the two quickly, finding a mixed scent first, later followed by the pair of voices.

The question asked found his ear as he tread closer, a questioning scowl spreading 'cross his stoic facade. Wasn't the title obvious?

The hound found his way to the pale woman's flank, facing the stranger with a cold glare. One might suggest it was unwelcoming... but, he wasn't the one to say who would join them.
LOL I SHADOW POSTED OVER ARASHI MY BAD

She gave a ghost of a smile that implied approval. He had manners.
Arashi, she felt him at her flank.
Ever the loyal soldier, she thought. Her smile widened a small touch.
"Warchief within The Saints is just another term for Alpha, Monarch, what-have-you. We are mainly militaristic- fighters. Warriors. But we will forge the best out of any skill brought to our doorstep. Like spying, or scouting." She knew she has his attention. But was it for a reason that was mutually beneficial?

"What are your skills, Gennesis?" She invited, swaying her tail a couple times while waiting for his response.
another man — and although most would read all of them as aloof, he felt most comfortable like this.

scouting, hunting. he informed her nonchalant, as if they were discussing the weather. but it was nothing serious, was it?

he waited anymore questions or words, eyes fixed upon the pale beast.

No worries, lol! I adjusted my previous post as well so that it didn't appear odd in timing ^-^

As the Warchieftain questioned the darkly man, Arashi listened with attentive ears. He too was curious to know what they were good at... if anything.

However, the response given was not an expected one.

This one spoke as if the pale maiden's words meant nothing.

The hound did not like this~.. and it showed.

With a heavy, single stride forward, Arashi's lips expanded, displaying neat rows of crimson stained dentition. A gruesome snarl bubbled, saliva frothing along the corner's of the mouth.

Wrong way to answer, mutt. The query wasn't idle. Show due mannerism and try again. He spat every word, commanding the coy-wolf to renew his answer in a different form. The one provided would not do. If otherwise, he'd be sent off with a few new scars in lesson of respect.
Fury took in the answer given, and Arashi's dislike for the tone of their company.
As he took a sole stride forward and bared his teeth with a scathing tone, Fury strode with him and nudged him gently with her shoulder, giving him a glance that said everything was alright.

She was not offended. Kynareth too spoke casually, in his own way. It was something she was used to.

Turning her eyes to Gennesis once more, eyes glinting with a silent apology for a brief second before she spoke again.

"If you are desiring a home to call your own, I will open mine to you in return for your skills." Fury offered, this time tipping her hand to the coywolf with a careful use of words and temperament. Not everyone was won over with intimidation.
gennesis only spared the man a glance, especially as this warchief seemed to pull his chain tight. no feelings hurt, but certainly something to keep an eye on.

will i be able to scout wherever i want? just have to answer to you? he rolled the idea around in his mind. wouldn't be half bad, if it could be clean and orderly.

Skipable from here on unless directly addressed

He had been ignored; barely given notice.

An urge knotted inward, chest heaving with the struggle to restrain a hearty growl.

Arashi wanted badly to put this wolf in his place — teach some discipline and what-not. Though, he slightly feared the reaction of the Warchieftain. Would she see him differently if to outburst? Did he want to find out? Perhaps not now...

Despite the control he had, the hound would certainly not allow himself to simply brushed over the shoulder.

Leaning closer, he whispered words meant only for the pale woman's ear. Arrogant and stubborn. If to join us, further teachings of discipline will become a requirement. Fury was likely aware of this, but he felt as if a reminder was due. As a militaristic based group, all soldiers were bound by the respect they gave to their superiors. Arashi was no superior, but he wouldn't standby as such attitude was given to his Chieftain.

Regardless if she paid mind to his words now, more would be shared later. This would not be the last Fury would hear of him on this matter.
Fury turned her head slightly to hear Arashi's input.
She gave him a slight nod in agreement before returning her attention to Gennesis.

"Wherever you want, unless you're given a direct assignment. Other than that my only conditions are yes, you answer to me, and that when you return from every trip you give me a report of your findings, be they groups and packs, prey movements, whatever."

The Warchieftan inclined her head to Gennesis then, a silent question.

Was it a deal?
maybe it was a stupid decision.

but that was okay, because if it was? he already knew he would just leave. there was nothing wrong with that to him.

so he grunted, in as honest of a voice as gennesis could manage. okay. i can do that. and it was the truth. he could meander around here and give her a general check-in every time he returned. truthfully that seemed like the bare fucking minimum on his part.

he pent down to scoop the antler back into his mouth, eyes fixed on the pair. wondering what their next words would be. although he imagined anything the male had to say would probably be ignored in favor of the warchief anyway. she seemed far more level headed.
Fury smiled with a hint of approval "Then it's been settled."
With that, she would turn beside Arashi and beckon Gennesis to follow with a jerk of her muzzle.

"Feel free to familiarize yourself with the Strath and the other territories within the valley before you take off next." She purled, picking up to a loose trot so she could get back to her pups.
She trusted everything would work out from hereon.

I'm okay with fading here if y'all want! <3
