For any knowingly/Unknowingly pregnant wolves of the pack! Feel free to presume Rye has at least met your toon, if you wish it. And also for anyone going for medic/midwife trade!

Cloud cover and snow hampered his plans for that moring, the Hotah intended to collect more herbs for the coming summer months. Breeding season was upon them, the father could smell the difference in the air for quite some time and it made him wonder who, if any, of the Summit was expecting. The instinctual urge to sire offspring was heady but Rye kept his thoughts neatly bundled and focused on the list of herbs he required. Namely, Borage leaves for fevers and milk supply, Chervil Root to keep away, or treat, infections, and finally Nettle leaves, to ease swelling. Thus far his supply was lacking, Rye wanted a good pouchful of each but Chervil root and Nettle leaves were proving to be laborious to find.

As morning hours waned into afternoon light, the clouds stubbornly remained but the snow had ceased, so Rye seized the hour to start his search for the elusive herbs. Taking the scent from his personal herbs cache, the hotah set off to scour just past the packs boarders. Hoping to return with his medical pouch bursting.
as the days passed, antha began to see the signs of her pregnancy. she had visibly started to gain weight, and the fur on her belly had started to thin. to the trained eye, her stomach was ever so slightly more prominent on her body than it had been before. to anyone else, the symptoms were slight enough to be missed. but it was enough for @Tessa to be certain, and antha trusted her judgment.
her sickness grew worse, too, but the witch was determined to carry on until she could not. she was searching for herbs when she happened to cross paths with rye, a member of atautsikut who she knew of but had not yet formally met.
oh, hello. you're rye, yes? i don't think we've had a chance to speak yet. i'm antha, she smiled, dipping her head lightly. i joined atautsikut just before the move to the summit. finding everyone for introductions has been quite the task. i was just searching for herbs for the medicine den. perhaps we could search together?
He had spotted it, a small bushel of chervil nestled in the crook of a great oak tree. "Ahh, there you are." He said softly to himself, happy with his find. The man uprooted the herb, scratching away the leaves to separate it from the all important root. It was short, fat, stocky and numerous. A pair of chervil planted itself nearby, Rye wasted no time to dig those up as well. The man breathed, soaking his nostrils in the ethereal scent of freshly dug dirt, the gritty texture irritated his nose just right. After brushing the dirt from the roots, Rye tucked them away in his medical pouch and continued on.

It was barely a moment later when he heard the patters of a wolf approaching, the epsilon turned to see who and heard a soft greeting. They knew his name and Rye recognized them from somewhere. From before the move, it was decided for him. "Well, it is nice to meet you Antha, I would be very grateful for your company," He smiled, speaking honestly. "I've been looking for Chervil root and Nettle leaves. Birthing season is nearly here and as an aspiring midwife, I know I will be busy." He laughed, although internally he was a bit worried. If all the women of the pack became pregnant he'd likely be up every night to check on the mothers but it was his passion, to help bring forth the next generation. He owed it after all.
the man was pleasant and open, greeting her and explaining his purpose. she was surprised to hear that a man would aspire to midwifery, but it was a pleasant surprise. she smiled gently.
ah! my sister, tessa, is a skilled midwife. she's overseen many dozens of births. i'm certain she would be happy to share some of her knowledge with you, she offered, tail waving. as for chervil and nettle, i believe we have sufficient stores of chervil for the season, but i'm not certain tessa has found any nettle. perhaps we can search together.
The cream colored woman informed Rye of her sisters, Tessa, midwife trade. The epsilons tail wagged, a glimmer of joy shining in his eyes. It was just what he'd been looking for, a midwife to learn from and aspire to be. "I would be happy to learn all that I can from your sister, I've been looking for another midwife to learn under. They seem to be rare." He noted, slightly shrugging.

"But yes, please, if its nettle we need, then lets get to searching." Rye took the lead and let his nose do the searching but he paused for a moment, glancing towards Antha. "So, how'd you get to be here? Why Atautsikut?" He asked, continuing the search.

As they searched Rye heard a call go up for him, he lifted his head inquisitively and then looked at his packmate. He hummed questioningly, "I've been summoned." He joked, lightly chuckling. "Perhaps we can search together another time, for now, I will see you around." He flashed a quick smile before making haste towards the call, wondering what it may lead to.
