she moved along the edge of the territory, a pep in her step as the spring day reached a prime temperature. the overhang of clouds offered a shield from the sun.

her good mood spilled forth from her in the form of a social call. eager to see if anybody might care to join her on a little patrol. it would be good to know the others while she learned the territory better.

admittedly, there was a desire to wander once more, but she remained within the confines of home for now.
It was mere happenstance that Imaq crossed paths with the pale northerner as she set out for a patrol -- something she usually did alone. The she-dog halted in her steps for a half a heartbeat, surprised by the pale visage she encountered -- ears lifting alertly and eyes widening a tic. Soon enough, her brief moment of shock passed and she continued on to fall into place beside the woman companionably. 

"Salutitsik," the medicine woman murmured as she always did, though she had long stopped expecting to meet anyone who spoke the tongue of the tundras.
