Rodyn walked on burnished red paw, dipped in shadows. His tail erect, neck arched, it was a great day to be alive. He didnt often leave the spine anymore, but today his wander lust had rose and he would sate it with a jaunt down the mountain.

He bent his nose to the ground so many smells. He would leisurely peruse one maybe do some hunting.
The young wolf hadn’t been in the territory for very long she felt the breeze flowing through her fur. Throwing the scents from the earth to her nose, though in this part most was ash and she wondered if she would find even a bug here.

To her surprise it was a bug that was before her but another wolf. The first she’d seen since arriving she was wary but let out a chuff announcing her presence so she wouldn’t startle them.
Rodyn didn't know what happened here, but it had left a scar. Ash and dirt mixed in his nose, but he could smell new life, prey. Everything always came full circle, always. He was startled fron his thoughts by a wold announcing their presence albeit kindly.

He took a moment to lift his head. Lost in the scents beneath the ash. He tilted his head and dipped his nose. A small smile graced his muzzle. Hello.
The wolf returned her greeting with words and a small smile and she returned one of her own. ”Hello.” The she wolf had never been one for comfortable conversation so that was all she said and a bit shyly at that. But she knew she couldn’t just say that because then it would be awkward. ”hunting?” she asked simply.
If nothing else could be said of Rodyn, it was that he was friendly and shyness did not deter him. He could lower his voice, lower his exuberance, but he would still be just as friendly. So her small shy hello just made him want to be nicer and try harder to at least make her less shy around him.

He chuckled good-naturedly. Well truing, but its slim around here. Mostly, i was simply exploring and if i caught something it makes the day all the more better.

I'm Rodyn by the way. He offered his name, but didn't expect one in return. That would come in time he hoped.
The female looked around at the landscape and gave a simple nod. “Yeah doesn’t look like there’s much of anything over here.” If there was any life living over here she would have been surprised.’

The wolf gave his name and she thought it was only fitting that she gave hers as well. ”Nice to meet you. I am Elwyn.”
Rodyn shifted and motioned over where grass was beginning to rise further away. There isn't much right now. But nsture always wins. It will come back. May take some time, but eventually. He shifted.

He bowed his head with a smile. Pleasure to meet you, Elwyn. Just passing through? There's some real nice sights to see.
