Set for uuuhhh tomorrow 7/1/22, tagging @Vex Cruor <3

It had been slightly over a month.
Fury decided it was probably a good idea to check on Vex and her kids.
With her, she carried a large rabbit she had caught in the Sweep, as a potential peace offering for her prior offense when her fellow monarch had given birth.
Having let @Arlette and @Arashi know where she was going, it should be okay...
Should be.

Setting the rabbit at her paws, Fury would let out a low call for the Queen, and would wait patiently for her or another escort to arrive.
Tags for reference!

A call sounded for the Queen, and she responded with a swift call of her own. Her children would be overseen by @Kevalin until she returned. Vex moved to the weir for a quick drink, then set out at a steady lope for the Warqueen's call.

Vex still had no decisions made. @Vivaan had requested the albino as well as Fury, but the Cruor Queen was loathe to give him to either. She met Fury at the border, then beckoned her over.

"Welcome back."
Vex met her and beckoned her over in due time.
The Warqueen picked up her rabbit and prowled over the markers to join her fellow monarch, gently setting the plump prey at Vex's forepaws.

"I did not mean to offend you the last time I was here, saying what I did. I was hoping the rabbit might begin to aid in my apology." She said, swaying her tail softly.
There was genuinity in the offer that she hoped Vex would see.
"How are you and your children faring?" She asked after a pause, as an attempt to not overload the Matriarch with words.
Vex had had a rough labor and delivery, and did not hold to the offense that had been given prior. She accepted the rabbit with a dip of her head, and she responded quietly, "I accept your apology. I know you only meant to help." And then on to her children. "They are well, all four. Healthy, and feisty," she chuckled, her eyes shimmering slightly. "They will make good warriors, at least two of them." Then, she returned the question. "And you and yours? Have you found the lost ones?"
Fury found relief in Vex's acceptance of her apologetics.
All four, healthy and fiesty.
At least two would make good fighters.

"Sovereign is well. She's growing quickly, and has started training in the past month. As for my missing ones, they are with another ally on the Coast. One is sick, and the other does not wish to depart until their sibling is well again. Credence has also disappeared...I feel like a terrible mother, losing most of my offspring." The Warqueen vented, letting out a sharp, heavy sigh.
It didn't seem like Vex to offer words of comfort, so she didn't look for any from her fellow Matriarch.
Fury's litter was not faring well. Vex frowned lightly, and she ducked her head briefly. "My condolences." The Cruor Queen was not a comforting woman — empathy did not come easily to her, if at all. But, Fury was her ally, and so she would show respect. "As always, me and mine will keep an eye out your young ones."
"I appreciate that, thank you." Fury responded.
The lack of comforting words was no bother. It was simply... the way it was.

With a moment of pause, the Warqueen had a thought...
"How would you feel about an interpack hunt, between yourselves and the Saints?" Fury inquired. She hadn't heard anything from the wolves of Atautsikut on the hunt they had agreed upon a few months ago, so she figured she'd try to scoop together a different pack hunt.
An inter-pack hunt could be just what they needed to reestablish ties — Vex definitely had the numbers, now. Though, she had not seen her uncle in some time, her father even longer. Still, with her mate by her side, surely they could take anything? "I'd love to. I'll speak to mine... where should we gather for the hunt?" Vex smiled slightly.
Fury waved her tail as Vex gave her acceptance of the offer.
"Perhaps the Lake Plateu neighboring the Shadewood? Northwest from here, or the Floodlands?" Fury suggested. There wasn't really anywhere else that was neutral territory that sounded appeasing for an interpack hunt.
"We could also hunt along the creek, west of the Dominion," she suggested with a small shrug. "Less travel for all parties. Plus, we don't hunt the creek often." She chuckled lightly, then added, "Though I do try to keep others from hunting there, as well." Vex would not mind their packs hunting so close.
Fury had never seen the creek on the Western side of the Dominion before.
She took vex's suggestion to mind with a soft hmm, thinking...

"I'm alright with that. I will have a meeting with the Saints to announce the Hunt. When do you think would be a good time? I would like my daughter to join us in the effort, if possible." She mused, looking upon her fellow Matriarch with inquisitive eyes.
At mention of Fury's daughter, the Queen asked, "Oh, is she so old already?" Her own would not be old enough to join on hunts for some time. Even so... Frowning lightly in thought, she said, "In a month, mine might be able to watch..."

Vex looked to her allied Warqueen. "Is this agreeable to you?"
Fury nodded in agreement.
"In a month then." She confirmed.
In the excitement of things, she almost forgot to mention Alduin.

"Ah. I almost forgot, there may be one more party joining us. His name is Alduin. I don't know yet if he will have numbers, but I consider him an ally, perhaps you might find a similar dynamic in him."
Vex smiled slightly at the mention of another. "Friends are always good to have," she mused softly. Then, she dipped her head and got to her feet. "I should return to my children." Vex would see Fury back to the borders, then she would take her leave.

Last from me <3 I'll start the hunt thread!
Fury nodded in agreement to Vex's sentiment.
Friends were always beneficial.

To her fellow Monarch's words though, the Warqueen gave an understandng dip of her head as Vex lead her back to the borders.

The snowy giant didn't look back as she headed for home.
