they'd been getting on all right, but as the pups grew, they consumed more, and aditya was finding it increasingly hard to provide for the four of them. soon, the children would be eating meat. when that happened, he feared he wouldn't be able to keep up, especially at his age.
and tytonidae was no spring chicken. he came to her today, his meager offering of a squirrel hanging limply from his mouth.
