Dust and ruin; he had seen enough of that to last him eons, and yet he found himself surrounded by rising cliffs that went beyond being ominous. These were corroded spaces much like the prison he had only recently escaped from.
At least he was off the island!
In a place that smelled of goat piss, he thought bitterly; but away, away, away, and free! freedom felt good, regardless.
He slunk along a path cleaved cleanly across the hillside, nose down and face a surly mess; wondering, was it worth the fight?
