she's scouting for riverclan! open to anyone <3

silvertongue had hated to leave @Crowfeather behind. "i'll come back," she had told te young wolf she still thought of to herself as prince, "in a few days. maybe four. do not worry, mi dulce. i have been across the world." a kiss to his cheek, a sharp wink, and she was off. once outside mereo she felt a sense of levity that only grew as she left the sunspire altogether. she followed the lake until it thinned to a creek, then headed right. so far from akashingo, she knew pharaoh's eye did not reach here. and so despite the open terrain, silvertongue's pace was jaunty. belen no longer existed.
Sandy gloves against green ground he walked. Patrolling a little further from the borders. His wounds no longer scabs, but scars now, that colored his pelage a different hue. He felt like his father's son now, in a strange way. He had, in a sense became the viking he had always thought more so felt he was.

Kind eyes in wizened face, he shifted and continued on. He would only go so far, and then return. With Sanja newly awake, he did not wish to leave her far or for long. It seemed unsightly.

A figure in the distance caught his attention and he chuffed and then stopped, watching, waiting. Wary.

there was a wolf. an old man, but a man all the same. silvertongue approached with a jaunty step and tip to her hips that suggested much. he smelled of pack. "hola," she told him brightly, eyes showing no hint of her wariness. "what can you tell a traveler like me about this place?" her plume stirred once as she spoke.
Gunnar took her in with a brief glance. Pretty, jaunty, confident, perhaps a little too confident, but what was he to judge. He could probably air a shine of arrogance himself at times.

Hello. Was his quiet reply.

Gunnar smiled. Loner are you? I was until recently. Only one pack has made it's home here as of yet, that is our own Kvarsheim. He motioned back the way he had come.

He tilted his head, moved broad body to a more comfortable and neutral position. Bountiful hunting, good places to hole up for winter and abundance of fresh water.

the man did not seem put off by her display, so silvertongue judged him a steady sort. he was forthcoming with practical information, over which she nodded eagerly. "that is all very good. what is kvarsheim like?" if they were to have neighbors, silvertongue meant to squeeze as much information as she could about them out of whoever fell beneath her wiles.
Gunnar chuckled and smiled at her. First I will ask if you plan to neighbor near us? And may I ask your name?

Gunnar shifted and moved to stand a little more, off his bad leg. It bothered him sometimes, nothing major, but enough to feel.

We are a familial clan, close knit. Speak different languages. Our leader are Sanja and Taktuq.

He motioned the way she had come. What has you out here searching?

her eyes glowed. "it is silvertongue. and i am not sure. there are two of us, and he wants to settle in a cool place with many shadows. so i am searching." she shrugged and did not elaborate. "where is kvarsheim from here? i will make sure we are not too close. what is your name?" she asked of the old guard, putting taktuq and sanja to memory.
She was a beauty of that he coudn't deny, however he also knew that sometimes with beauty came more than he or any man could bargain for, and some of the most cunning wolves were those of possession of great beauty.

We hail near the Stone Circle. You cannot miss it.

Gunnar offered her a kind smile. My name is Gunnar Lodbruk.

He frowned in thought. A place that is cool with shadows hmm.

He tried to remembered everything around. Blackfoot forest is shady, but perhaps a tad too shady, and if you don't like forests. There's a grove of Aspen trees, bountiful game, and rivers that way, Jade Fern Grove and Lost Creek Hollow. They were all shady years ago, and I imagine more so now.

What he didn't say was that they were far enough away, all of them, that they would not bother each other.

When your leader comes through if you settle here. You must meet our leader. Perhaps there can be some sort of allyship made.

stone circle. gunnar lodbrok. and then a host of territories! her eyes widened. he gave her a description of each, though her gaze brightened to hear jade fern, and then sharpened at the mention of lost creek. "i would like to see both of those places," she declared, tail swishing. "and do not worry. when we have settled, we will visit." her eyes danced upon his craggy face. "will you show me where this grove of ferns is first, and then the hollow?"
Gunnar nodded and then took a moment to gauge their way. Jade Fern Grove is further away, but I think we can make it.

He moved in a north eastern direction, eyes dancing in his wizened face. I hope you have some good running legs on you, Miss. Silvertongue.

He led her towards it, it would take them at least a couple hours, but he was still able to move pretty quickly and his body was used to roving, given that he had been a loner, most of his life. It was strange now, being in a pack and of high rank. It had not been that way since Saena.

Do you want a nother thread in both places or?
yeah we can do one then the other if thats good! <3

silvertongue was delighted to be addressed in such a way. she had only ever been a servant, and now she had a title of her own. "suppose i am not as fast as you!" she teased the aged man, but followed happily at his side, speaking of this bird or that flower when they had slowed to an easier pace.
