Nazli visited the servants quarters now. Among the various alcoves she found her chosen work space, where she had stashed the running bird feathers, the violet flowers, and now the petrified stone.

It did not seem like enough to bring to Ramesses yet; he had requested only the finest things of which to appease his daughter, and while Nazli thought she had done very well so far, these things were not quite good enough.

She was tired. Her brief nap beside Senmut had revitalized her to a point, and now Nazli was left wondering what to focus her remaining energy on: there was talk of a second wedding which perhaps she should have been privy to, at least in the manner of a servant; there were foods and drinks to prepare for the continued celebrations; there was cleaning! So much cleaning!

And so she was mindless as she organized her things, unsure of what to do next.
