It was a beautiful day out. The weather was finally getting to be manageable as far as temperature and clouds shaded a good portion of the sun. It was still delightfully bright and a low breeze drifted through, bringing with it the strong scent of heather.

Bridget was downwind and watching a pair of rabbits with the focus of a circling hawk. She was trying to do the math in her head, and quietly stretching, but she had yet to successfully take down prey with that kind of speed. That didn't mean she couldn't make that false today.

If she ran, and didn't catch one, they would both be gone and she'd miss the shot. She could creep in closer but then risked losing the element of surprise. Bridget took one careful step closer and then froze again.

Meanwhile the rabbits continued to forage, oblivious to the danger for now.
