attn @Tavina <3

she was never late for these lessons with her tutors. she was a timely little girl, and it was in this way she showed her respect to those that instructed her.
she left senmut to find the sesh, bright-eyed and eager. toula had still managed to arrive early, and her gaze sought the dark and lovely features of tavina.

"hello, princess toula." tavina turned from her examination table, upon which she had laid an assortment of herbs.

"if you would identify these for me please, highness." the sesh was no-nonsense and direct. today would be no different.
toula greeted tavina softly and warmly. her youth permitted perhaps some modicum more of affection than she would display when she was older, but there was something to be said about how toula no longer sprinted into the room to circle tavina and hound her with kisses as she once had when she was very young. and somehow, that was not too terribly long ago!
she settled alongside the sesh, looking to the table. her mind worked to remember these things, placed in a different inventory than all of her prayers were. calendula, she began, which can help with infection, and burnwounds. calendula was a bright, vibrant flower toula had found quite lovely. it seemed the easiest to remember, and the easiest to start with... but then, perhaps she had made an error with another floral looking plant she had forgotten? she peered to tavina, to see if she had done well to start, or if perhaps she misidentified the herb.
toula was an apt and willing pupil. tavina nodded warmly. "very good," she praised of the princess' proper identification. "how do you prepare it?"

the use of medicine may not be necessary in the life of the little royal. and yet it was sensible to learn. satsu too had known their uses.

her purple eyes were gentle with anticipation.
toula was posed another question. she blinked up at tavina and refrained from chewing on her lip while thinking, which would be most unladylike. before too long, toula recited some of what she recalled:  you chew it. it can be applied as a paste,
but she grew silent. she seemed to remember something else, and tacked on, albeit  a bit uncertainly, it might also be ingested, to soothe ones stomach.
toula was a quick student. "very good, great one!" she laughed and sighed delightedly. "you're very good at this, you know. do the plants speak to you like they do to me?" she asked in a jest.

but she truly wished to know, for such skills were high in demand and would give little toula a worth that was not related to her rank.
