Etienne led the way towards their mother @Chacal. Once she would come into view, he would step behind Theo. Allowing the oldest sibling to carry his catch and prize showing it off to their mother and perhaps @Suzu if she was around. Though the blood and gore would make her ill.

Eti kept golden gaze on his brothers back and trotted forward. He stopped a bit away from Manman and lay his own rabbit at his feet. ALlowing his brother @Theo to have this moment. This pride.

Backdating to the 6th of the month for timelines sake. Theo and Etienne caught a rabbit in this Thread
Theo nodded gratefully at Etienne, appreciative about being allowed the moment. He padded up to his manman to show her what he caught. "MANMAN!" He said loudly. "I caught a 'lapen!" He said proudly, holding the partially mangled and still kinda bloody thing up to his mothers face proudly. His tail was wagging and you could sense the pride radiating through his body.
She heard her boys approaching, and the high, sweet voice of Theo muffled slightly by the kill he carried. He led the procession, but she could see that each of her sons brought a rabbit- and bloody as they were, these weren’t brought from caches- she could tell in an instant that these were fresh-caught simply by the buoyant pride in their step.

”You did!” she exclaimed, laughing as Theo held the rabbit up for her to see. ”An’ look! Such a good catch- my boys, you make me so proud! I can ‘ear my heart beat out loud!” She said, reaching forward to give Theo a fond nuzzle. To see her boys thriving revived her from her grief. She reached for Étienne too, who had made a catch of his own. ”What a team you make!” She praised.
Eti smiled softly as his brother told their mother of his catch. He hung back. Hoping that Manman would not see him or at the least would acknowledge Theo first. This was more Theo's moment than his.

Eti smiled, but shook his head. It was T'eo most. 'E barked at dem, made dem run run real fast. Den he cotted 'is fore I cotted mine. 'E a great 'unter!

Eti shifted and covered a paw over his rabbit. He couldn't hide it from view, but he had already caught a rabbit he remembered the pride he felt at hsi first catch. And he knew Theo must be felling this too.
Theo nodded at everything Eti said. "Yeah! I bark barked real loudly and scareded them to run to Eti and he caughted one and I did too!" Theo said, his words still muffled by the rabbit in his clutch and jumbled together by his excitement. "Eti did great too! He tolded me what I should do." Theo praised his brother, nudging him forward.
Chacal listened as Theo explained what his strategy had been, while simultaneously, enthusiastically praising his brother as well. Both seemed keen to make sure that she knew that their brother had done a fine job and she loved them for being so supportive of each other. She'd been extremely lucky to have them turn out so well. Boys who fought and bickered were much more of a challenge.

"I Am so proud of de bot' of you!
Dis goes to show you what teamwork can do!"
Eti didn't know how other brother's lived, but he was determined to love his, and suzu too. He warmed at his mother's praise and his brother's and bumped Theo hard in the shoulder as a type of comadrie move. They had done well, they should be proud of each other.

Teamwork did good.
Theo nodded in agreement. "Ya ya teamwork did the goodest job for us brothers." Theo said playfully and happily nudging Etienne.

I just realized how much Theo looked like Chacal, other than his eyes.
