`` sag mir, wer ich für dich bin . .``

These wilds... far different from the forest she once knew. Isa could not quite remember her travels here, much less why she decided to come. But she was here now. It was time to make her standing purpose.. — ..to find who she would be.

Not far from the mountains she saw in the distance, a certain smell flooded her senses. There was a vast, open land. It appeased her, for some odd reason. It felt inviting, but intimidating all at once. Surely someone worthy of a servants servitude would be here. Even if not, she could at least ask.

So, upon these evident borders, Isa tilted back and lifted her voice to the skies. She did not know who would come to greet her, but her tone was kept serious and steady. Surely only a true noble would desire to see who called upon their homeland.

i hope treva is okay :)

she was out on a stroll when the call came. the figure upon the border nearly represented coyote more than it did wolf. but such was not an uncommon sight to those who called akashingo home.

when she approached with was warmth and grace.

you have found the palace of akashingo. spoken as if it was an achievement, and in a way it was! the home was grand and lively. what brings you, stranger?
Ah, yes- of course! I'd meant to tag you both, but forgot to add Treva in, lol.

Isa was not kept waiting long. Someone arrived promptly, but it was not an individual of whom she expected. They who came were a woman- a beautiful one, at that! My she was a lovely sight. The redsand wolf could barely bring herself to advert her gaze. But alas! It was proving difficult with each passing second.

Palace.. Akashingo... She uttered, fawning over the title. It was mesmerizing. Roaming, truthfully. Such was indeed the truth. She had happened upon this place randomly; but here, seeing this woman, she was glad she did. But hopeful- Yes, she was hopeful. ... hopeful for a place to call mine- to serve, as I was taught to do. How could she not? It was all she'd ever known.
hopeful! to serve!

i am the shabti, the queen of akashingo. knowledge given so that the woman may be aware. it very well could be her that this wayward rogue may serve! she had not chosen a treasured servant yet. the we'eb had been plenty of fun to prod and test, but it was not the same as this.

you have caught my interest. tell me how you were taught to serve.

she had a feeling this one would not disappoint.
Shabti? Oh, Queen! Yes! She knew this title well. It was similar, but not to the exact translation of her former mistress. How splendid!

Queen! My! Please, forgive my lack of formalities! Feet scuffling across the ground, Isana sunk her ventral body low to the ground, chin flattening against the earth. Whether divinity of her belief, she knew better than to disrespect true royalty.

I am Isa, if it pleases you, Que-.. Shabti, She corrected herself quickly, assuming that the woman would prefer the native title used. In my birthplace, they called me rotsandige diener — redsand servant. Was it not obvious as to why? Her fur looked almost identical to the red sands mother nature gave birth to.

"Tell me how you were taught to serve."

I was taught many things, Shabti. Most importantly that all of royal blood are pure divinity given to us by the noble spirits to worship and please in any way they desire. Since my days of childhood, I was directed on how to complete certain tasks to serve our divine ones... they included hunting, grooming, collecting, dancing, preparing bedding... and for men- well, how to serve in other ways. If this woman had been crowned a queen, surely that meant was wed to a king. And if to be married, she would know what responsibilities she bore as shabti.
it was as if this woman had been crafted for akashingo. a gift from far lands. she knew at once her husband would wish to see this face. if he did not already see it from some far place.

she thought at once of how a fellahin title might befit this woman. perhaps if her service proved to truly be as divine as her words, she might see the title of hebsut.

you are a gift to akashingo. she decided in a purr. with this she stepped, a silent invitation for the woman to follow. if you truly mean to serve in all ways, i will dub you fellahin of akashingo. it is a servant's position.

this would be only time she would allow negotiation on her word.

speak now or forever hold your peace...
A gift to Akashingo? What could be a higher honor than this!

My service is yours, Shabti, Isa rose, but kept her posture lower than that of the woman she stood before.

I will not fail Akashingo, nor you. She had never done so before, and she would not start now.
feel free to close out here or in a reply! :D

i know you will not.

her lips curled into what could only be deemed a smile.

come, we will get you settled for the day. expect to be called upon tomorrow.

she knew she must tell her husband at once and volley the ideas in her mind to him. there was a sudden and great delight in the queen.
