goodbye thread! its up to yall if u wanna do in-between travel threads or just have a forward-dated arrival at akashingo <3 please tag ram or tavina, or senmut lol! <3

it was time. given the disappearance of nanuq and siku, the imperator must devote himself to this.

at dawn he called for the crown prince @Makono, her guard @Khaba, her maiden @Nazli, and @Reyson himself. they would gather at the borders.

the yellowpaint eyes moved between each as they assembled. "princeps. reyson will escort you and your retinue to mereo. if you travel again through the night you may arrive in two days."

he looked at the man who meant to join him as elitus. "request that the queen send a messenger when you have arrived." he made no mention of pharaoh. germanicus set his attention on makono now. "you return to akashingo with more military footing than before. in the spring i hope to see you again."

she would be well-protected. the imperator nodded at each of them, signalling that reyson should lead out.

one month.
Reyson felt strange leaving now, when the two little ones were missing. He wanted to help look for them. His friend was missing them, but he had been given an order. He was to travel with the princeps. He was to make sure they arrived safely and then he would be there for a month, learning of the wolves there, pining for Meadow and hoping that she was still willing to continue their courtship when he returned. He felt it would be too much to ask her to visit him, and he didn't really want her too. He did not trust the wolves of Akashingo.

Reyson gave a swift nod, and squared his shoulders. Moving immediately into a guard stance. He would lead, he motioned for Khaba to provide a rear guard. He nodded his head at Germanicus.

I will see you in a month Imperator and I will ask the queen to send a messenger when we have arrived.

He met the man's gaze for a moment, sharing a brief look into his own workings. The regret at leaving at time like this, the want to continue to help hunt for the children, but there was also a small fire in there. A shining of respect for his commander. Then he quickly averted his gaze and moved to start walking.
