she skulked through the misty morning.
shoulders hunched and head low. plucking along and following a strand of scents up the river. pleasant meals would become harder and harder to come by. especially in lonely places.
water ways would always be fruitful though, no matter the seasons. she just had to learn to navigate this one first.
