Void had done little sine being accepted into Moonglow. So today he set out to hunt for the pack. With pregnant females, and more to come, along with pups sooner rather than later, he knew prey was well needed. He knew he could probably take down a smaller deer by himself, if he could find one, but assistance would also be prefered. He looked around, sniffing the air, either for a target or a potential hunting partner. Perhaps his friend @Rodyn was around.

tagged just in case ya want too! no pressure (:
He was a giant in comparison to her, and Ciri took a moment to admire his stature as he prowled - a bright-eyed shadow against the snowy backdrop. She thought he looked to be in search of something, and the swallow was reluctant to intrude. She lingered, uncertain willing herself to be brave, before she managed to convince herself forward to greet her raven pack-mate with a friendly sweep of her dark tail. Hello, she chirped, her smile gentle, I'm Ciri, I... I'm new here.

The girl was very small. Like smaller than average. She didn't look much younger than him though, probably somewhere around 2 almost 3 years old like himself. She also carried the faint scent of Moonglow, giving him the idea she was new before she even told him. But she was also a female, around a time when females went into heat. So perhaps if a friendship formed, or just an acquaintance, she would come to him in her time. He wasn't sure how capable she was hunting deer, as her size was small, but any help was better than none at all, so he was willing to accept her.

"Hey there." He said. "I'm also new. My name's Void." He said, dipping his head politely. "Care to join me in hunting? My target is a deer or carribou, do you have experience hunting large, antlered animals?" He asked respectfully. He had to look down to talk to her, which felt awkward for him because even though he was bigger than 99% of other wolves he met, she was like really small for an adult.
Void, he said, and her smile brightened. How very fitting, considering the untouched ebony of his furs. Ciri was pleased to be looked upon by him with quiet acceptance. Her bright eyes sought the brute's dark face as he carried on, announcing his intention to hunt and inviting her along for the opportunity.

Sure! I mostly hunt small game, she answered, the suggestion of guilt on her tone; her time alone on the road had not gifted her with many chances to fell anything larger than a small goat. She was a petite thing, lean and long-legged, very obviously lacking the strength to bring down great antlered beasts. Ciri was swift, though, and she wanted to be of use to Moonglow. I hope you might be willing to give me a chance, though?

"Certainly. I remember my first time learning to hunt large game, and I had no teacher. Was only like 7 months old but probably bigger than you are now." Void said with a chuckle, though the fact wasn't really funny. He and his littermates were on their own since 2 months old, and had to teach themselvesĀ to survive.

Void caught scent of a deer herd. "Theres one that's traveled this way." He said, flicking his ear in the direction of the scent.
