Per this Thread We are searching for Tulu. Figure only a couple replies per wolf, just to show we are searching and to get any trades you want in :) @Kivaluk @Chakliux

Moonwoman has tasked us with finding one of our fold, Tulukiri. We will scout and find her. Follow me.

Moonwoman had spoke to him and he had chosen two wolves, one he trusted and one he didn't know yet. To determine how he may find this wolf. He wanted to be sure Chakliux was as good as he said he was. And Kivaluk didn't get out enough.

He had found the scent of the she wolf and it led them through the glen, towards the terrace. They would make it there. It was here he stopped for amoment. To gather her scent further.

Spread out see if her scent is in more than one place, then meet back here.
it was an honor to have been chosen by the first-hunter. chakliux struggled with the sunshine word for the man's title.
but it did not matter. he loped quickly to rodyn's side.
it was then that he had found samani's scent twined with that of the first-hunter, and snorted deep inside himself with something like jealousy.
yet chakliux kept this to himself! and when rodyn directed them to extend their search, he nodded at the first-hunter and the rangy boy who had also been chosen.
the seal hunter man trotted south.
kivaluk joins the older men as he is summoned. kivaluk knew he has been a bit distant lately as he tended to caches, patrolled the borders and worked on his bride price — though the latter was much more selfish than the first two. guilt eats at him for a moment but finds no real home.

kivaluk studies the pale furred male: the one he does not know; a new addition to moonglow he is left to assume.

something akin to ice drops into kivaluk's stomach, twisting it, as rodyn mentions tulukiri and how she has gone missing. it seems a little bit preposterous: she was strong, from the same village as his father! but so, too, has his father vanished without word for ...months.

this news and mission only brings to the forefront of his mind things he has tried so hard not to think about.

but he does as first hunter instructs.

he branches in a direction opposite the older men; eyes and nose alert.
Rodyn offered the white male a friendly greeting and the like when they had met. For he knew not of what he thought of his wife. And he trusted Samani anyway to tell him anything.

Now though his mind was on far reaching things. And the fear for Tulukiri drove him forward. The girl despite her tendency to be mouthy and rude. She was a good hunter and scout and strong. So for her to be gone this long. It didn't bode well and it made him nervous.

He continued on his way catching her smell on the breeze and stronger still. Yellow eyes turned towards the darker shadows where the sacred place of Twilight altar sat and it made him anxious.

He would call the others, and then wait.

If one of you need to find her for IC purposes please let me know. Otherwise, one more from each of us and we can archive and I already asked Tala if we could jump into the lion/tulu thread to find her.
fine w that!

chakliux did not know this woman tulukiri. he knew her as co-hunter in the village, but she had been gone and he had not seen her face in the dancing.
the seal hunter man tracked a long while, searching first for the scent of the village and then her own. but he came up empty.
when first-hunter called, chakliux was already drifting in that direction and joined rodyn with a grim expression. "she is strong and young. maybe she only went away to find a new place."
but even as he spoke, chakliux felt the emptiness of his words. he would move off when the first-hunter did.
she wouldn't have done that. kivaluk says to chakliux's suggestion; breaking his silence as he continued his search, not worried about his voice carrying.naturally, their hearing was superior and he knew rodyn and chakliux could hear him just fine.

in all fairness, he didn't know tulukiri that well, it wasn't as if they'd had any long, riveting conversations but she had came back with kigipigak and ...though his father's stability had been fickle, tulukiri's had not. she was family, as far as kivaluk was concerned.

he hadn't believed it was the way of his father's people to just leave. their loyalty, from what he had seen even of kigipigak as he left his family to tend to things back at his birthplace, ran bone deep.

he sees this trait in himself: for better or worse.

at least, not without saying something. this, he speaks confidently; steps pausing as he picks up on a scent that while unfamiliar to him, causes the hair at the nape of his neck to bristle.

y'all get my 200nd kivaluk post!
Fading into the next one. Thank you for the quick replies loves <3

Rodyn would call them again as he found her scent stronger, and he would with their company swiftly move towards where she was. He hoped to find her healthy and well, but the simple fact was. they wouldn't know what the would find.

He wanted answers for Kukutux. No matter what they maybe.
