A marsh. A cold, muddy marsh. A strange grey wolf looking down at me. Familiar... comforting. I try to snuggle under her, it's cold. But she runs, she runs far away. Wait! Please! But she doesn't. She keeps running. I try to stand to chase after her, but something is holding me down. Not something... someone. Glowing, fierce wolf eyes burn into hers. No leaving... they murmur. Let me go! I try to bite them. No use, no use. No leaving! they growl louder and louder. NO LEAVING!! they howl. I sink, sink into the mud. I struggle, but there is no use. Help!!! Help!! No one comes. The wolves drag me down, deep under the mud. My world goes dark....

"Get off!" Amber yelps as she wakes up. She frantically studies her surroundings. She was just in the Lower Tier den. Alone. Just a dream... More like a nightmare! Her fur was standing on end, still frightened. The grey wolf was all too familiar. She wasn't welcomed by sunlight, only dark clouds. She sighed and stretched. She shook herself off, as if trying to get rid of the nightmare. I'll go hunt, to keep my mind of of things. She stretched once again, and trotted out of her den. She didn't bother too see if anyone was awake or wanted to tag along. She needed a bit of time to herself.

As she nears the exit, she breaks into a run. She stops to sniff a tree. It smelled of rabbit. She followed the sent into the woods, determent to catch it. As she neared the fuzzy brown creature, she crouched, belly nearly touching the ground. She creeped in closer. She meant to leap onto the rabbit, but she just got a mouthful of dust. But she wasn't giving up that easily. She gave chase. Her paws thudding on the ground. Her forelegs were now brushing against the rabbit's hide. She flopped onto it, knocking the wind out of both the rabbit and her. As she stood up, it tried to run for it. But it couldn't go far. She chomped on its neck and it went limp. She carried the rabbit with her and sniffed for more prey.[/size]
