Mature Content Warning

The participants have indicated the following reason(s) for this warning: Sexual themes!
After spending the night with @Sialuk, Keen awoke feeling distinctly uncomfortable. It had nothing to do with the alpha of Moonspear or what they'd done, however. Of all things, she woke to her heat. She usually didn't get any warning, and this time was no different. At least she was in the right place for it?
Keen thought so, anyway. She had no intention of having children, with or without anyone's blessing. So Sialuk was the perfect company. Yawning, Keen shifted slightly to get closer to the snow-furred woman, and wondered what Sialuk would do with this new development. Hopefully she wouldn't be mad or something.
She lay relaxed, happy, and pleased with her first choice of lover on Moonspear. Her eyes blinked at the burgeoning light that filtered into the ulaq, and she swept her eyes across the woman cloaked in bark, her eyes tiny ice crystals. And the smell of another thing, too. Sialuk thought for a moment it might be her own, but no. The air smelled distinctly Keen.

Sialuk draped her paw across her lover's back, preening the fur on her neck. Do you wish for children? she asked. Sialuk could not provide this, but she knew the spear and the surrounding forests were aplenty with those who could.
Sialuk was awake, draping a paw across her, and Keen shivered at the feeling of gentle teeth in her fur. Her question was entirely unexpected — and it really was a switch, after the packs Keen had been in before. She'd been expected to isolate herself entirely, from everyone in her last pack, and the one before — well, the alpha there had not taken kindly to the perceived threat of unwanted children. So the last thing Keen expected was to be offered the opportunity to have children.
Too bad she didn't want it. No, She said, quiet but resolute. If I ever get married, maybe then. But right now, I'd like to stay with you, if that's alright. For as long as Sialuk would welcome her. She wasn't nervous anymore, now that she thought she knew what was going on here. Now she was just totally infatuated and likely to be insufferable about it for quite some time.
Maquk, Sialuk replied, leaning in closer. The starwoman attempted to formulate words for what she wished to say, mulling them over for some time as she continued to groom Keen's fur. I will take more lovers, she said. She did not wish to push Keen away, but she did want her to know that Sialuk would take on more lovers. If this was not agreeable, the raindrop would not wish to lead Keen into something she did not want. Is this okay for you? she asked. Would it shadow her spirit?
Maquk. What did that mean? But maybe she didn't need to ask; Sialuk's affections continued, and her words were soft when she spoke again. Keen made a soft thoughtful noise, something like a hmmm. Yes, She said after a moment. She'd never pictured herself the poly type, but she found that she really didn't mind. They barely knew one another, and while Keen knew herself well enough to know that she would inevitably develop deeper feelings here, she felt she could be content with what they had.
I might do the same, She decided as an afterthought. One night stands were par for the course in Keen's world, but recurring lovers — lovers, plural! — that was a new one. Sialuk had mentioned bringing the practice to Moonspear, so Keen could only assume that meant that others in the pack might be open to it. Hopefully.
Sialuk nestled herself against Keen, happy to ruminate in the warmth of body against body. In time, the starwoman did believe she would bring in another lover, but for now, she was happy to relish this moment with Keen.

You may come to my ulaq when you wish. If I am with another, I will leave a skin at the entrance, and you will know it is best to come another time, yes? she asked. It seemed a simple system, one that would reduce any discomfort Keen (or another of Sia's lovers) might feel at intruding.
