Rodyn shifted through the new pack lands. @T.K. was here, deep in the forest, hiding. They would come out to say hello to Rodyn and then return to their own place, but Rodyn was glad they were here. Though he briefly wondered about his friend @Void . He had told Void of this place and had hoped he would join him, but he hadn't seen him yet.

It upset him a little. Today though he would find himself among the borders, patrolling again. Anxious to get the borders set and the place built for Samani. It was a good time. Paws scratched in the dirt, urine lay heavy and thick upon them, and fur clung to nearby trees and bushes.

Only if you have time Ryder, and T.K is just a reference. I know you are busy Bees.
Void had debated a lot after Rodyn had told him he was leaving. He loved his friend dearly, but had just committed himself to Moonglow. He didn't want to make it seem like had joined the pack just for the sheer reason of being with his friend, but frankly, that was one of the deciding factors. So now without having Rodyn in Moonglow with him, Void felt empty. The pack felt cold. He wanted to be with his friend. So he set off to the area Rodyn had told him he'd be in.
If Rodyn had known that Void had doubts, he would have done his best to ease them. T hey were leaving Moonglow yes, but they were still part of moonglow. It was confusing. They were part of moonglow, just as Moonspear was. All wolves had open policies to visit any of the places if they wished.

It was with a contemplative silence, that he lifted his gaze to see his friend bearing down on their pack lands. He let out a loud bark, and greeted with a wagging tail.

Hiya Void.
Void's eyes lit up when he saw Rodyn. He quickened his pace, reaching his friend and letting out a friendly, happy, chuff in greeting. "Hey Rodyn!" He said, his tone full of happiness.
Rodyn smiled. Did you come to join us or just help me out? Seeing how Moonglow/Moonspear and now moontide are all kinda one big pack, just separate factions.

He smiled and motioned for his friend to come. Come on let me show you around.
"I want to join you. I've always wanted a pack of my own but it does not seem like that's gonna happen, perhaps I don't have what it takes, so the next best thing would be joining the pack of my best friend, even if it is just a sub-faction of Moonglow." Void said.

He nodded as Rodyn offered to show him around, and started to follow his buddy.
Oh never say never my friend. It may happen yet. Already you have made such growth. Sometimes these things just sort of fall into your lap. I wasn't planning on making my own, but here we are. And i'm happy with the plan.

He swung his tail in a thoughtful arc. Marking as they went. I think we want to make it trade based and make paths with other packs to trade labor, skills, food etc. Perhaps even marriages some day if wolves want that. I know Moonwoman is matchmaker.
Void had heard that of her. "I wish I could have a match. While I'm psyched I'm going to have pups, I wish I could help raise them, or have pups of my own that I would be involved with. It hurts knowing they'll never know of me." Void said. "I feel like I'm back at square one, in a way. Like I feel like the same, lonely, wolf, yearning for a family, that I was the day I met you, nearly a year ago. I just feel older now, more worn down by all my failed attempts at finding love." He confessed
Rodyn looked him over. Perhaps we can find you one for next year. I will seek out Moonwoman and see what she has to say.

A soft sad smile. I wish you could know them too. He stopped to lean upwards and tug claws down trees, and kicked up dirt while they walked. Marking what was theirs.

We have the forest at our back and the sea at our front. There will be hunts to plan and eventually we will need to scout to other packs. Is there anything that interests you?

He would give his friend a job, a meaning as Moonwoman had done for him.

A soft chuckle. Well at least at first, I think you were going about finding love wrong. You can't force someone to love you. But you have shown much growth since all that time ago.
Void perked up at that. The idea of having a mate made him very happy.

"Perhaps I can find them sometime... I know what the girl I mated with looks like, and perhaps if I spot some young, black or gray pups walking around, that perhaps resemble me, they could be my pups." He said. "But then again, why would they trust some random black wolf saying he's their father? There are millions of black wolves out there." Void sighed.

"I mean I've always been a good hunter. I could do that. Not much of a scout, not good with meeting others..." Void said, giving Rodyn a half smile, knowing his friend knows about his lacking social skills.

"Yeah that's true." He said, remembering his old ways of fighting any female who wouldn't want to be his mate.
Rodyn made a mental note to make sure he spoke with Moonwoman about matchmaking in Moontide eventually and perhaps sooner for some of their other members.

Rodyn shook his head. If you and her agreed it was just for babies, why would you potentially uproot her whole life and the babies too?

Rodyn chuckled and then pawed at his friends shoulder. I want you to be happy with trades. Even if you want to try something different. Let me know. I want you to find your own space to take up you know, make this a really good home for you.
"We never spoke a word. Well, I did. I told her my pack and my name, told her to find me if she ever needs help. She didn't speak back to me though." He told Rodyn.

Void nodded and smirked again as Rodyn pawed him. The two were still just as close as they'd ever been, still acting as the age they were, a year ago, at times. "I will be happy here with anything, because I get to be in my best friends pack."
Rodyn didn't think he could do what Void had done. He would always wonder about any children. It was why he couldn't do all as a trader. He couldn't offer that last hurdle.

Laughter bright and fun. Alright then. Lets mark some borders. Then maybe start filling caches?
lmao some typos in there xD

Void nodded. He followed his best friend along the borders, marking them as he was doing
