for @Asvoria but welcome for others! Please allow Asvoria to post first if anyone else joins! Ensio tag for reference if he doesn't join too <3!

Sovereign continued to wander, restless and aimless in a way.
She'd return to the Lake after each departure, but never stayed longer than a couple days at a time, not yet content to stay for longer periods than that.
@Ensio was good company, she knew he would follow her after a time, perhaps linger back out of sight but within calling distance?
The pale girl couldn't know for sure, but she imagined he was likely close by.
Even if he wasn't now, surely he wasn't far behind her...

Eventually her paws brought her to the Keep, where she observed birds in plenty.
They were large, screeching beasts and perched in different places or flew around, circling or gliding, but there were also so many that it was hard to note exactly what all each bird was doing.
That, and-

There were most definitely other wolves here.
She could smell them through the bird stench, amazingly enough, but it wasn't entirely clear to her on if this place was an attempted or official claim.
Uncertainty furrowed her brows, making the behemoth girl pause as her ears swiveled for sound, eyes scanning for any lupine figures that may come to intercept her.
sorry for the short reply! trying to get something up quick while I have the time..

Someone new walked this land. Asvoria found them during her own wandering; a walking of the grounds.

You have traveled far, stranger. Warily, yet calmly, she approached. It was evident by their scent and awe alone that they were not from around here.
A smaller female greeted her with wariness.
Sovereign swiveled her ears back slightly, swaying her tail slowly with hesitation.

"I'm...I'm just passing through..." She offered.
She figured the female before her would smell the other scent/s on her, so she sighed and explained "I am with a pack forming into the Flatlands, South of here." She gestured roughly southward in the direction of the Greatwater Lake with a tired gesture of her muzzle.
"I am wandering." She finally admitted.
Bound to Ensio or not, she was aimless and felt she needed the travel, plus she hadn't seen him much lately anyways - even though the lack of notice likely wouldn't mean he was really gone.
"My name is Sovereign..." The yearling eventually gave.
Introductions were usually the...right thing to do, here.
Or so she remembered from her mother...
Passing through. In this direction? It almost didn't seem plausible. For if her pack was opposite of here, why come this way? Nonetheless, whether this girl was honest or not, it was not the priestesses place to question.

You find yourself wandering in a good place, Sovereign. Asvoria offers a warm, inviting smile. We are religious people here— Most of them, anyway. — a people devout to learning and teaching the unknowing. Two of their largest focuses.

But now, the priestess was curious regarding the place in which this wanderer lived. And what of your home, Sovereign? What are your people like?
Sovereign visibly hesitated on the inquiry of her home.

She didn't want to talk much about it, but she offered it anyway -
"My birthplace was Hildibrandr - led by Fullvalda, my mother, Fury Brunhilde. I was to be her heir. And in her passing, I became so. But it...it was not to last." The sadness in her tone indicative that all was lost, in some way or another. That there was no going back to where home used to be.
There was empthay, she felt for the girl. But alongside it, there was familiarity.

Fullvalda? She repeated, an inquiry. Had she heard this right? Such was a title common for her former people, but only used in special occasions.

You come from viking origin... Something they had in common. Though, Asvoria was curious to know more.
Sovereign nodded once, firm.
A confirmation.
"My mother was born in the Deep North." She started to explain, "But I don't think her home village was as much spiritual as it was physical, and I believe this was shown in the ways of Hildibrandr...she, my ma...she was skjaldmær just as equally as she was Fullvalda." The reverence-filled way of saying Fury had been equal parts a Queen and a fighter or Berserker.
"I know of our Gods, but have never practiced much in my faith..."
