@Rodyn, voids found a wolf he's kinda falling for and wants to hypothetically ask Rodyn about her, as he knows he's been/going to Moonglow for matchmaking (if he's still there we can forward date this till when he returns

Void looked around for his buddy. He wanted to talk about Meylodi, but not really. He wanted to ask what would happen, in a hypothetical situation, if he'd found a wolf on his own to be his mate. He frankly wasn't sure if that was even ok.
It was easy to move from one pack to the next. They weren't that terribly far apart. Rodyn had returned, but Samani hadn't. She was planning on staying to help her mother with her new siblings. There was a lot going on in the Moonglow family and he hoped that they could figure it out. Rodyn promised to take care of Moontide in her absence, and he'd wait for her return.

Trotting into the pack lands he saw Void searching. Heya Void.
Hey Rodyn.” Void said. “i was looking for you. I uh, have a question.” He said.

Hypothetically, would it be ok if i found a wolf on my own that i want to be my mate/marry, outside of the matchmaking system? and if so what would happen if i did?” he asked not sure if there was rituals or something.
Rodyn paid quick attention as his friend said he had a question. Warm yellow eyes turning towards him and he waited.

That's fine. It is not something you must do. Only if you wish to do so. Have you found someone? Does she require a bride price?
Rodyn seemed very chill with the idea so Void decided to admit the truth to him. "I found someone... yeah... and all she wanted me to do to prove myself was beat her in a fight and i kinda did, but like a little too much, i thought she'd be stronger to be honest and now she's injured at the edge of our territory, not in it, and i've been taking care of her and we wanna start a pack together and... and..." Void said going on and on without taking a breath. So he paused before continuing in a calmer and slower tone. "...and Rodyn, I think I've fallen in love with her." He said finally.
Rodyn listened he said nothing at first. A thoughtful expression on his face and in his brow. His heart hurt that his friend maybe leaving and yet it also grew in size to know is friend may have found someone that he cared for.

He grinned then with a huge smile. Well Void. You always have a home here and you are more than welcome to stay in our borders under our pack until you have a place picked and time spent building. Then you go with my blessing. I'm happy for you man.

Rodyn didn't say he thought it too early. He didn't reprimand, didn't say anything, but support to his friend. He wanted him to be happy. To have someone to love.
Void smiled so strongly, stronger than he'd ever smiled before. His tail was wagging too. "Thank you so much Rodyn, I'll still be here for a while yet, though I may bring her into Moontide too if thats ok, while we still plan out locations and find others interested in joining our future pack. I'm so happy." He said, truly expressing himself.
That's fine. It was hard to watch his friend leave him, especially as Samani had gone back to Moonglow for a time to help her mother. He felt as if those he cared for were leaving, but this was the way of things. And he was so happy for him. So pushing all misgivings aside. He wouldn't even show his melancholy, he offered a bright smile.

You should be. It's about time you had someone to care for.
"We want to go back to the mountains for our pack.. and I know they are far from here but I promise I will visit all the time. And we've still got so much time together, but I'm just really happy man. This has been my dream since we first met nearly a year ago. And it's finally coming true now." Void said. He was happy to have this come complete but he too was sad about leaving his friend. He knew it would still be some time though and distance never stopped them before.
A dull ache spattered against Rodyn's ribs, but he ignored it. His friend deserved this happiness. And he wouldn't ruin it by being sad about it.

I'll miss you too, but you're dreams are coming true and that is the best thing. I'm really happy for you Void. We'll come and visit too. But you're right you still have a little time.
Void nodded. "You're an amazing friend Rodyn. Don't ever forget that. An amazing friend and just an amazing guy in general." Void said genuinely.

After a pause, he asked, "Want to hunt?", with a little chuckle as that's how most of their deep convos ended. But he enjoyed his hunts with Rodyn.
