with @Sorcha at his side, kivaluk leads the way to moonglow's borders; having taken the trek back slow on account of his companion.

a worried glimpse is spared to her before he tips his head back and calls for his anaa and @Aiolos.

i called for my anaa kukutux and aiolos, kivaluk tells her. they lead moonglow. he adds, in case she wasn't aware. the decision on whether she could stay or not ( if that was what she wanted ) was not his to make.

do you need anything while we wait for them? he asks softly, silver-champagne gaze lightly resting upon her face.
Another call and as Aiolos comes, it is for another visitor to their lands. The fiery coated man smiles as he dips his muzzle to Kivaluk and turns his gaze to the young woman- mostly grey with some unique lining of peach in her fur.

Welcome to Moonglow, young lady.
the teeth of the mountain seemed forbidding. sorcha did not think she had ever been so high. she shook her head mutely at kivaluk's question.
the man who joined them was great and scarlet. she stared at him, not hearing his kindness at first.
and then she blinked and tried to straighten. "t-thank you, sir. i'm sorcha — from brecheliant. at first," she added in a mumble. "i was traveling with someone but we were getting hungry, and then we got separated, and then uh, kivaluk found me. i know stratos. he was," and then her eyes filled with tired tears. "my sister knew him. she's gone."
feel free to skip kivaluk! just tag if he's needed! <3

while kivaluk spends a small measure of time debating on whether he should introduce her to aiolos or not, sorcha takes the lead, launching into her name, where she was from and the explanation of how the pair of them ended up in company of one another.

i didn't find my mother, kivaluk adds quietly, having told kukutux and aiolos before he'd set out; not one to venture outside of moonglow without purpose.

mostly, it for a few hours at a time to track the herd migrations. lately, it'd been in search of sakhmet, hoping he might find her.

though lately he is not sure if he wants to find her as finding her comes with an uncertainty of how he'd find her.

but, he does it for his own closure. for galana's.

but i heard sorcha and ... i couldn't leave her. he doesn't add that she asked to come back with him. with this, kivaluk falls silent, figuring that from here aiolos and sorcha could figure out the details.

though he lingers.
The frown is deep on Aiolos' features when his step-son speaks that Sakhmet had yet to be recovered. It was not good news, but like Kivaluk, Aiolos held a hidden fear of how they might find Sakhmet. She had held a great happiness with Kukutux, had just birthed children together. But, the thought of Kivaluk's father plagued the back of Aiolos' mind. Had Galana's birth stirred emotions hidden deep in Sakhmet, to seek out the mate who had abandoned her?

Aiolos breathes out heavily, focusing his attention back to the yearling girl. Kukutux had spoken that Stratos had found interest in sisters of the southern pack. Was she one of them? Perhaps they are together then, making their own way or maybe looking to find their way to us again. He spoke to try to sooth her tears. So many came and went, especially so those young and rambunctious with a want to see all the world. Aiolos had seen much of the world himself. His place now was here.

I am Aiolos, Stratos' father and leader known as Sunman of Moonglow. Though, perhaps if Stratos spoke of him, she already suspected who he was. Word traveled far and easy. Is it your desire to rest here and then guide you back to Brecheliant?
the man was kind, fatherly, and yet so unlike eljay that it made sorcha feel worse. she hung her head as they briefly spoke, and then shook it quickly at the question. "i d-don't want to go back. i t-told them i was leaving. if they're together, then they'll come back here, right? and maybe i can go visit brecheliant, sometime. but —"
and all of a sudden she was realizing she had nothing to offer this man's pack. aiolos, stratos' dad. her eyes blinked and then she frowned a little. "will you let me stay? just for a little while. i can leave in a few days." her eyes pleaded.
The young wolf hung her head, shaking it and gave words that she told her pack she was leaving and that she did not wish to return. Aiolos' head perked up higher, curious and he passed Kivaluk a side glance. Then he turned his attention back to Sorcha, whose eyes were pleading as she asked to stay.

You need not leave if you don't want to. You are welcome here and so may stay. But... He took a step closer, his voice firmer, in that fatherly manner which she felt he held. You will learn the ways of Moonglow and when you are ready to visit your family, you will take someone with you so that you may not get lost again. He wanted to make certain her parents were not worried of their daughter being lost and make sure she did not get lost again, either.
wow i didnt see the note about skipping kiva LOL my b! last for me!

sorcha nodded once, and then again, more quickly. "i'll learn, for sure. and i won't leave without — yeah. i won't leave until someone can go with me."
until she was ready.
and now failure stung her belly, and she hung her head, ready to lead where kivaluk and aiolos led, desperate to sleep and forget this whole shitty day.
Get it together Ebony. Lol Last for me too!

Aiolos says nothing more. Only a last firm nod and then passes his fiery gaze over to Kivaluk. Turning, he awaited for them to follow.

Aiolos would go to one of the clear areas around the lake. From here, various Landmarks could be made out, including the dens. At this point he would leave the pair to there devices.
