open to all pups too! <3

today the morphe sought @Ethan.

with her she carried a fish, relishing some time away while her oldest watched the boys. she meant to ensure that all the pups received her gaze, needing the distraction as she tried not to think of everything that had gone on.

"hello," tamar greeted outside the den. "i have brought you a meal."
Ethan made sure his pups were all comfortable before he padded to the entrance and dipped his head to Tamar. He took the fish gratefully. “Hello.” He said. He looked backed at his pups lovingly. “Their eyes should start opening soon. I can’t wait for those moments. It was so funny when Ike and my first daughter Mya opened theirs the first time.” He told her

@leo @ember @elijah franklin @donnie, feel free to hop in and have the pups open their eyes! it’s been past 11 days, nearing two weeks actually now
I’ll reply intermittently; feel free to skip me :)

Donnie felt himself placed closer to his siblings, in their nest of warmth. But by this point, he knew what it meant to be nudged and crowded together with the other small ones for warmth- it meant that his father was getting up.

It happened, every now and again. Typically, he slept through such occurrences, not bothered at all as they were never left for long, or the warmth was replaced. But he’d just yawned, preparing for a nap when it happened- and lifted his head, uttering soft, curious sounds that might’ve sounded more like a grunt than a bark.
tamar smiled.

"it is a beautiful and surprising time. each child is so very different." she looked over the new father and the littlest ones, then back to ethan once more.

"how have you been? how are you feeling?"
"I feel alright. Everything has been going smoothly. The three boys and their sister are all healthy and growing." Ethan said fondly, looking down at all 4 of his newest babies. "Being in a pack this time is a huge relief though, Ike and Mya were born in the wilds and I had no help or other eyes to watch them. I was constantly scared I'd come back and find them eaten or stolen whenever I had to hunt." He told Tamar.
"i am glad you are here."

glad that ethan no longer had to fear those things. "when my sons are older, we will bring them together. they will know each other as playmates and friends."

it was always what she had meant for the vale.
Ethan smiled. "I would love that and I am sure my young would too." He told her.
"is there anything else you need?"

her eyes were softly shining toward the little ones of epoch, mother's heart sweetened for them as well.
Ethan shook his head. "Thank you for your offer, but I should be alright now. Soon I shall be taking these little ones out and about." He said, looking down and back at the little ones. Donnie had stirred but the others were still asleep. He let out a contented sigh. Then he dipped his head to Tamar in parting
<3

"call if you need me."

tamar too returned the gesture, looked once more at the new little lives, and then departed to leave ethan and his brood for their rest.
