A hum under breath as he slipped through the shadows of the night. They closed his red tinted fur with their own shape and he couldn't help but smile. Though the thoughts that bound around his head were heavier than the norm for the bard. Usually preferring happiness and contentment above all. He felt none of those things in Moonspear. He honestly wasn't even sure if Sialuk liked him in any capacity friend or beyond. And he felt her choice in men was...mediocre at best. Not that he would be any better, but she could do better. One who was grumpy all the time, another who couldn't take a joke and a third who was so prideful it was going to topple him someday if he didn't learn to cowl it.

But how did he have any right to say anything in offense of her choices. He too had chosen a wrong man once upon a time hadn't he. A man who had betrayed him in the most intimate of ways and then left him to die after being used as he was. It was only sheer will that had brought him to his feet.

He snorted and pushed the thoughts aside. Anxious to get to the altar he had seen. And it was there that he settled and looked to the stars. He and his mother had looked at stars for hours. He missed that part of home.
