Ajei was out and about as the sun began to sink behind the horizon. She had been on her way home, but lost track of time and now she was hurrying along. A little worry in her little heart that one mama would be mad and two she'd be stuck outside in the dark with...well everything that wasn't out in the daytime.
A little whimper left her tiny maw and she continued on. Then there it was a monster in the corner. Large and teethy and coming right at her. She screeched and ran tumbling butt over end, landing hard on her stomach. Her tiny paw pierced by a stick and she whimpered and felt tears burn at the corner of her eyes. She tried to stand and whimpered again. As she couldn't put the foot with the small stick in it down. So she limped along on three legs.

IT was a rotten tree that scared her and the stick is only in between her little paw toes. It can be pulled out and not much issue.
