BWP: Your character is pursued by a rabid animal

Dawnlark Plains had been an easy hunting ground for some time, while the does had lain their freshly birthed fawns in the grasses for cover. But those times were past, and most fawns no longer cowered and hid from danger, but chose to run from it instead. A blast of breath from a buck signaled to the herd that a predator was in the area, and the small herd bounded off.

Lilia had been hiding in the grasses, but she'd only been observing. The wind had been in her favour, so she rose, and began to scan the grasslands to see who it was that had frightened the herd away. The grasses parted in the distance as a fox made its way through the meadow, and at first she merely scoffed. The deer had been ridiculous to alert to a fox- a fox would never hunt a deer. She considered sneaking up on the creature simply to see if she could harass it a bit- until she noticed the way it moved.

Its path was erratic, and its back and legs looked stiff. It wandered, mostly ranging in broad circles, as though it'd been hooked to some spot on the ground by its earlobe. Its jaws hung open slightly, and from its mouth fell drops of spittle. She didn't even need to scent the air to know the animal was sick, and in the dull glint of its eyes she saw that her presence had been registered and slowly, the creature began to stumble in her direction, gnashing its jaws together.

She couldn't have it follow her back to the Rise- but she knew better than to touch it, as well. She began to make her way along the edge of the plain, hoping to guide it slowly away from her home, where it might pursue her into the wilderness.
