set for whenever!

chickadee, given half the option, wanted to stay, help her mom, try and work on things with dwin.
but as the first dawn greyed the sky, it was @Kivaluk for whom she searched, wondering if he was still near the borders of brecheliant or if he'd decided to go home after all.
I hope it's okay to toss her in here. I can take her out if you'd like, but it'd be nice to meet Dee and also see Kivaluk again.

Amalia had heard that the daughter of her dear friend was back amongst their fold. She had went in search of her. In her maw, some flowers. She didn't know if it would mean much, but she wanted to at least give the girl something for returning to visit. It felt like the right thing to do.

She followed the scent of the girl seh didn't know, and found it intertwined with one she did know. And this caused eagerness to add flight to her paws. He was here. The little boy she had known so long ago. So excited to see him and meet the daughter of maia that she didn't even spare a thought that perhaps Kivaluk wouldn't want to see her.
it is at the borders that chickadee would find him; and he, if she allowed it, would greet her with a lingering brush of his muzzle against her's. trying not to show that it left his skin tingling and his heartbeat in his throat.

his lips part to speak, but the air is swallowed, words fleeing back inside him as a familiar figure approaches. for a moment, there is a nagging sense that he knows her, and it takes a sluggish few seconds until the lightbulb goes off within kivaluk.

amalia! he greets her; unable to curb the confusion in his tone. memories of a time long since past prickle uncomfortably at the forefront of his mind: of his long absent father, of his lost mother. those lost to him that he did not wish to think of ( though he knows burying it doesn't help the healing process any ).
that was nice, that was —
oh —
the brief melting had to be rebuilt quickly as someone approached them, a sweet, pretty someone who kivaluk greeted so warmly it almost made her recoil.
"ah, hi," she said in as friendly a way as she could muster to the flower-laden woman. "i'm chickadee."
Amalia grinned through the flowers and then gave a soft little muffled yip. She looked to the girl with happy eyes and nodded. Laying the flowers at her paws.

I'm so glad I got to meet you. I had heard that you were here and i wanted to bring flowers to say hello. I'm Amalia!

Then she looked back to Kivaluk. Hey! How are you doing? Still hunting well?

Her tail sweeping behind her a little oblivious to both their current emoting. She hoped she hadn't interrupted anything. But it was so good to see the young man that Kivaluk had grown into. A young man she had once felt close to as an older sister would.
