prompt - discovery of delicious fermented fruit
Heph had been surprised when she first smelled the telltale floral and fruity scents of something blossoming in the spindly trees above. She had not thought they were that kind, and at first she had written them off for they were far too high to gather - not that she had a particular taste for fruit. But when she next visited out of curiosity, territory not far from Moontide she discovered the decedent sweet smell of something rotting on the forest floor and realized that whatever the trees had managed to produce had almost completely fallen to the forest floor.
Insects buzzed around her feasting and she saw several scavengers scamper out of her way even though she took care to walk quietly among the shadows. She looked around with some measure of awe at the scene.
