mira had made a temporary home at little goat mountain, a small and peaceful peak, largely covered in grass and the grazing prey it was named for. her den was in a very small cave near the base of the slope, not big enough even for three adult wolves, which was just perfectly cozy for the lone serpent herself. she had lined it with goat pelts, hawk feathers and patches of moss and soft grass. even though she was tough around the edges, mira wasn't too fierce to appreciate a comfy bed.

she avoided roaming these days and spent a large portion of her time simply hunting meals and taking rests. it was refreshing to feel safe, that was true- although she still longed for the feeling of blood pumping, excitement. but the time for that was not yet here and all she could do was wait. on the other hand, the quietness here was refreshing- she had not yet encountered another wolf out and about here, and only occasionaly scented their trails. none interested her enough to follow, and thus she remained.
